Lots of banks have notifications – turn them on They'll ping you for big transactions, low balances, or logins, so you know if something fishy's going on.

Check your monthly bank statements. They lay out all your transactions and help you see if anything's off.

If your bank does it, set up account alerts. They can shoot you emails or texts for stuff like your balance getting low or a new payee added.

Think about getting alerts for international or online buys. It adds a layer of security, letting you know about transactions that don't fit your usual routine.

Yes it is a good step to follow up things in your account because by so doing you will not be taken unaware by fraudulent people or initiate a transaction that you didnt subscribe to.

setting up notification concerning your account is very good because you will be up to date

Most of the banks set up by default a notification concerning your account until you modify your account preference or request from the bank agency to avoid any misunderstand between client or agency and reduce the people requesting bank history at agency as they have a lot of work waiting them.
