You know infoproducts are in every one of us at all times.
I stumbled into my first product years ago on a forum that had a built in marketplace. There was a very hot thread on the topic of CPA Offers.
Everyday all day people kept going to that thread making comments about an upcoming launch that was going to be like $2000.
And all the Gurus were sending out those pre selling emails to everyone.
Well I have never written a book in my life but I notice people in the thread kept asking "What are CPA Offers". So instead of leave a post reply I put together everything I could find on CPA offers that was available totally free. And all the things I observed personally when I was being sold to.
Always pay attention to how you are being sold...its good knowledge for us.
Anyway I remember seeing a video on youtube it was very simple it was images only video of cars that had been in car crashes and it had the music of Jame Bond ha. And at the End he sent people to a CPA Offer for Auto Insurance. I just happen to know that back then that CPA Offer paid $10 for each email sign up .
When I saw the video I just made a mental note how he was marketing.
So now that I was making an info product I made sure to include that and alot more little observations I noticed from other marketers how they were making money.
It was just a 26 pager with images and I priced it at $10. Then I got back on the Hot Thread and just made that my Signature and adding value to the comments.
I could not believe it.. I ended up with like 28 pages of positive comments and every comment kept generating more sales.
After about a month I had a Buyers List that I knew nothing about how to Market haha and that times $10. Yeah that blew me away.
If only I was not too shy to continue marketing to them I would probably be rich right now hahaha. But we live and learn.
But here is the thing about infoproducts. You do not have to be an expert in anything. You can just know an expert. Or you can just observe experts and put together a helpful RESOURCE.
Yep just save people time and convenience not to look it all up on their own and they will be willing to pay you for that.
Another point...
If you made $1 online then you can make an eBook for the people that have made ZERO haha its true right?
So remember every achievement you have it can be a product that helps someone else out.
Mr. B right now there are people searching for info on how to create their own Forum...you can save them tons of mistakes they do not even know they are going to make yet.
If someone here knows someone with any skill you can make a infoproduct to teach others that other persons skill. You can even make a deal with the other person to create a how to video and you do all the marketing.
The old Interview infoproduct still works as well. Just interview experts in certain niches and make sure they have big lists because of course they would like to promote something that includes them in it.
Remember when Adult Coloring Books first began Trendng...that is the time for us to start compiling all the info we can to give to the people that are hungry to learn more.
How Tos...I do not need to be on Spotify to learn everything about Spotify or Pinterest and create a helpful infoproduct on those topics.
One of the first things to consider is your end user.
I was lucky because I was on a market place with access to hungry buyers with credit cards.
But these days you really need a Launch Sequence. Yes you need a following or subscribers, or fans to create that first day momentum for you.
That first day will make or break you because Super Affiliates will jump on the train if they see its already hot. So its good to have your own lists that you pre sold the product was coming and they are eager to buy and you have been in the Launch groups letting affiliates know what day your Launch is. That is how they make the big bucks really fast.
If you have a weakness try to find a partner that has a strength and you compliment each other.
I had a girlfriend once and she had a hair care salon and was doing very well. But I told her what if you break your fingers or something your income can be affected..and she said something like she had savings. But I told her why don't you create some Instructional Videos of those fancy hairstyles you do for new hairstylist to learn. She jumped right on it and long story short we did not work out but shes very wealthy now haha.
So we need to keep our eyes open...people that are great at something, have done something that others have to do and can save them alot of headaches..even failures people can learn from and willing to pay for that.
If someone in your family is great cook you could possibley create a Recipe book. That is how we should be thinking at all times. I bet each one of has a gold mine right under our nose but not paying attention.
If you live in or near a Tourist Destination you can create a Resource on every thing a tourist would find interesting and make a website on that and local merchants would pay for ads.
OK..alot in my head trying to leak out at the same time hahaha apologize for any typos and such. But yes if we earn in our sleep that is the Key.
Also listbuilding. If you just promoted other peoples webinars you could make a killing on that alone. And people need and want personalized attention then coaching plays a part.
All we have to do is wake up and ask ourselves the right question. Not how can I get paid today...but how can I help someone else today and trust me it will be a happy ending .
