There are testimonies of many people that claim to have made a lot in sports betting. However there are others that lose miserably, and I am in this category.
I always lose more than I gain at the end and most times it makes me feel depressed. So I made the decision to quit since it is doing me no good. I wonder what I was doing wrong. Have you made reasonable income in sports betting? How did you pull it off?

I don't think your last line is a prayer. For most gamblers, they don't see betting as an addiction but a necessity and means of making ends means. They win and lose just like a business man will make profit and make loss and still continue the business. They also believe in consistency and not really being addicted to it. You only see it as being addicted maybe because of your moral conviction.

Yeah that is why I said for those battling with the addiction. Out if the gamblers out there only few are actually in control. The rest are getting themselves into serious financial problems. So for those ones they really need prayers to get out of such life.

That's true. Some still go ahead to borrow and even sell their property to bet. They always have the feeling that they will win one day. People should know that the betting is a business and there is no way the business owner will set a scheme to run against him. It may be extremely difficult and slim to win huge money in betting especially sport.

You made a great decision. Although I don't really believe in gender stereotypes, if it's not good for ladies then it is most times not good for guys too. The earlier we all realize that we are making the betting platforms rich the quicker it will be to quit. I know of people that have been affected negatively by betting. Sport betting has not really favoured me at all which made me come to a final conclusion that sport betting is really base on luck and that's why to avoid wasting my money all the time I have stopped giving people money to stake for me because I don't find it very attractive for a girl to be involved in sports betting

It hasn't really favoured me as I have placed a sport bet once, I lost and I never went back to it again. Well you lost the first time, many people actually do. But it's good that you stopped it immediately. Many people want out but cannot because they are strongly addicted. Like you said, only a small percentage of bettors actually make profits, the remaining ones always lose.

Yeah, I think I was lucky to have lost the first time I ever tried betting because if it were the opposite, I might have not let gambling even till this minute.
It's true that there are people who want to quit it but can't, it's just so addictive like a drug, while giving you false hope that you could get lucky with your next bet.

Had it been that you won that first game and subsequent ones after that, you might have developed an interest in it which will lead you to gamble more. Then the reality will set in when you realize you are losing more that you are gaining. Then you continue having false hope that you might win the next one, that is how addiction starts.

That's just the simple fact about gambling. Someone once told me that gambling is a spirit and I can't agree less because you always fell disturbed if you are addicted to it and you don't go gambling after a while. Most of my friends who started gambling back in high school are still into it till date and I can't see how their lives got any better.

That is horrible, the moment he got lucky to win big he should have forgotten about it. He thought everyday is Christmas, the fact that he won today does not mean he will tomorrow. He's not the only one though, that is a peculiar gambling spirit.

Yes , there was a time when I made $730 from just $30 from sports betting , I used to bet in cricket matches , especially the IPL premier leagues and other T20 premier leagues. But other times , I lost a lot from sports betting especially those Simulated matches emptied my coins.

To be honest , my last 20 sport bets have seen 18 losses and just a 2 wins , which defines my luck and prediction. I have now quitted sports betting because of that reason , sometimes I feel sports is also rigged just to make my bet lose everytime.

You deserve to quit brother,18 losses is not a small deal,the fact that you didn't stop after the tenth loss is really funny man.

Yeah , in fact all those 18 losses are big bets like $25 per bet , everytime my prediction went wrong , though the odds are just like 1.7x or maximum I better with 2x odds. I am still exploring new ways to earn money from bmf , and I am limited to many opportunities since I am a student yet.

I don't think this result is encouraging, most especially if you are a high stakes. 18 loses out if 20 is telling you to find something else to do and not waste your money any longer. I was worse, I will play like 25 straight games and record no win. Though I don't stake much but it eventually accumulated to a great deal of money. I done with betting now.

Seems you are lucky, or you have a strategy that works for you. I hope you continue displaying self control, don't lose all your profits in search of more. This is what affects many gamblers, greed.
