Popular hardware wallet for crypto "Trezor" was reportedly hacked and exposed the e-mails of almost 1 million users. However, the good thing is the users' recovery phrases and private keys were safe and the hackers were unable to steal them. This hack basically exposed private information of users including phone numbers and addresses. Trezor apologized and fixed the issue immediately.

Am happy it wasn't people's bitcoin that was stolen because that could have been worse and only emails were exposed ,trezor to fix things so this occurrence won't happen again

Trezor fixed the issue ? How ? , when the emails are already at the hands of the wrong person .
Glad that people's wallet werent hacked .
I hope other unaffected companies take precautions.

The only thing that bothered me was that hope those emails were not hacked because a lot of people information and private data will be leaked

Is not always the same for everyone. There are some people that stores fiat transaction details on their emails . this may affect them negatively.

With the rate at which hackers are hacking companies , it is as if the companies are too porous and lacks strong security personnel

Yeah the rate is getting high it might not be the company are too porus or lack security personell,i think those hackers always find means to hack the security they put in place

Guess the users' private info like DOB, name, physical address are all now available to buy in the darknet. It's sad to see even hardware wallet company that has security as its main concern got hacked like this.

Well this sound true but if companies are not updating their security system daily as hackers are doing , then hacking will always win over their security .

Though the money was not hacked , personal information was hacked. This is not a good thing to be expected from such a reputed hardware wallet.

Hacker cant misuse the email much , what more he can do is to just blackmail for money or something else via email , and people can ignore those spam emails.
