As reported by Pymnts.com, a group of mysterious hackers had posted the receipt of crypto transaction as donation proof in the dark web. They had donated about 10,000 USD to two different charity organizations - Children International and The Water Project. They used the non-profit block service called The Giving Block to process the transaction. A representative of Children International said that they will not keep the fund if the source is indeed from hackers.

It is a big test to enlope the charity organization , the earlier the rejects the donation the better for their reputation as an organization because people might be tracking the news and update.

I think they tried to help the charity organization but then their money is ill gotten and as such the organization may not accept it in the end . I think they may even have another agenda behind
This doesn't justify their stealing from Peter to pay Paul. Stealing is stealing no matter the good intentions behind stealing. It never a good thing to do

Yeah. The only form of hacking that is quite good are the white hat hackers who hack to return to the people the money was stolen from or to stop the scammers from going away with the money .

Yeah at least they are rendering the black hackers effort to defraud people useless. It is not worth it to accept gifts from thieves

Yeah , it doesn't worth it. The white hackers aren't giving gifts , they are returning lost gifts to people . This is what makes them better than the other ones

I guess most of the exchange platforms need to work on new policy of delaying huge withdrawal so they can transfer 80% of their funds to cold wallet for safety.

Nice article you posted, I believe those two mentioned charity organisations can't tamper with those stolen funds sent from group of hackers. They will return it back to the original owners, where the money come from.
This will only be the case if they are able to trace the real owners of the stolen fund which to me is not possible. They just need to return the money to the hacker's

If they go to media companies to table this kind of complaint, I think they can find the real owners of the fund.
I doubt this because many people have been scammed thus many people will show concern that the money will be theirs and in the end there won't know who to give the money

Right , this is pretty awkward to deal with the organization could take it as well as send back but we cannot say anything about the intention from the senders here
I think those hackers have been detained for what was deemed fraudulent. And those donated funds to the charity were reversed back to the original owners.
