A recent report published from ClearSky said that a hacker group called "CryptoCore" stole around $200 million from 5 different exchanges. They used advanced spear-phishing techniques to carry out the hacking and the attack was mainly targeted at US and Japanese exchanges. Security for these exchanges needs to be greatly improved otherwise these hacks will keep continuing.

Sadly, no matter how sophisticated your anti-hacking system is, hackers will still always find a way to break into your system. Exchanges should store the majority of their crypto reverse in cold wallet.

This is a sad one for those exchangers affected. Maybe the best bet is not storing online any more and a more complicated protection will be used. This is a big loss.

This is really a huge loss and those exchange sites should increase their security measures and find ways to store the crypto currency to prevent hackers

This is what I guess most of them does to be on the safe side, it is very rare for hardware wallet to be hacked, the hackers are also improving on daily basis as security is beef up by different exchange site.

I think people should be more enlightened on the need for an offline wallet and it should be made affordable for the people ,because the hacking stuff is getting scary

Hackers this, hackers that. Also, mostly are all crypto related. I think instead of churning out new coins by the day, the technology should be given an impenetrable security makeover first.
I don't think there is any body or institution regulating the inflow of new coins, the market is open for every developer or company that can survive it so it will be difficult to achieve that.

Maybe it is mere wishful thinking on my part, but something really needs to be done to check all these hacking and fraud going on presently. It is just too much.

The only thing that can be done is for the FBI and other security agencies to be more active in tracking online activities just like US security services is currently doing .

I hope soon this group will also change just read about another havker. Group addovons that have left hacking. Hoping these ones will follow suit and give the world it needed peace

Well if one of the hackers is from the security department of these exchanges its really not that hard to hack them as majority of the hacking i heard are mostly insider jobs. It's kinda like a game for both the security and the hacker as they have to both race each other as the security improves so are the ways or skills of the hackers improve

Hmmmmm it's a sad thing though that hackers always look for a loophole to break into people's privacy, money and so on despite the way security agencies are trying to improve and have been trying to put an end to cyber crimes I think that security agencies should try to employ hackers too to be doing the security job with this I think the security system will definitely improve.
No matter what we need to get prepared of the hack , because in some Countries the security agents are doing great job in the prevention of cyber crimes ,we also have to do all we could in other not to waste their efforts ,by applying the necessary decision in the prevention of cyber crimes
