I am interested in learning a digital skill , first I really considered graphic designing but from research I have done on graphic designing I've come to understand that graphic designing might be underrated and there is huge competition for graphic designers on freelance platform, This make me to consider choosing another skills which is website designing, From research website designing is a lucretive skill but with a very high competition, what if I ask, which of this will be more lucretive for freelancing , website design or graphic designing ?

Yes it takes time to gain mastery on programming. Alone the line, you might make mistakes or do things wrongly. Programming is not an easy task especially if you don't have passion for it. You can learn graphics design to an extent and still be good at it not programming.
it really takes time , it's best to learn more about the basics part so the person would not get confused at some point in time , programing to me is actually a skill on its own and should be learnt well

The both niche are very lucrative, irrespective of the fact that they are highly competitive, buy if you set your self apart by being the best, you would never lack jobs, because nowadays we have half baked web designers and graphic designers, so you must always be at the top of your game, always practice, learn and learn till you become so good and start sourcing for jobs.

I still feel like the more you actually learn the graphic designing skills , the better you would actually be able to increase the amount of skills you have in store , that's why is actually good you actually should learn the skills more better

I prefer graphic design because you can accept small projects and earn good money in short period of time. But web design is also good, but it takes a lot of time, which of course has more income. In the end, it all depends on you

When you decide to design your website or get it designed by a professional web designer, it is important to consider the factors including navigation, quality of content and the aesthetics of the website. While the web designer has to take care of all these factors, the graphic design for the website should be given equal importance. Graphic images are the first thing a visitor notices on a website and it is because of the attractive graphic images that the reader is enticed to read the text.

A website designer, who may also be a graphic designer, has to blend the graphics in his web design to create an attractive websites that can hold the interest of visitors and compel them to revisit the websites. In the web design, the web page layouts, site plan and content are directly related to the graphic design created for the websites. The graphics have to be as good as other aspects of web design.

Graphic design and web design are two different things, although they have a lot in common. A graphic designer works with the creation of images and graphics that can be used in various media formats such as printed materials, advertisements, packaging, etc. He creates designs that are visually appealing and informative to the target audience.

On the other hand, a web designer specializes in creating web page designs. Web designers are not only involved in visual design, but also in the development of functional and user interfaces in order to provide usability for the end user.

However, web design also includes the creation of images, illustrations, and graphics that can be used on web pages, so graphic design and web design can be interrelated and interdependent.

Graphic design is the process of producing visual content for use in print or digital media, including packaging, billboards, posters, brochures, and pictures for social media. Contrarily, web design entails developing the appearance, feel, and usability of websites as well as additional online platforms that can be accessed on a computer, tablet, or mobile device.

Choosing between website design and graphic design ultimately depends on your personal interests, skills, and long-term goals. Consider the following factors:

  1. Skillset: Assess your strengths and interests. If you enjoy working with visuals, typography, and creating graphics, graphic design might be a better fit. If you have an eye for aesthetics, enjoy problem-solving, and have an interest in both design and technical aspects, website design could be a good choice.
  2. Market Demand: Both graphic design and website design have a demand in the freelance market. Research the specific demand and competition in your target market to gauge the opportunities available.
  3. Specialization: Consider specializing in a specific area within graphic design or website design. This can help you carve out a niche and attract clients looking for specialized expertise.
  4. Portfolio and Branding: Develop a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and expertise in your chosen field. Build a personal brand that reflects your unique style and value proposition.
Ultimately, success in either field requires continuous learning, staying updated with industry trends, and delivering high-quality work. By honing your skills, building a strong portfolio, and providing excellent client service, you can increase your earning potential and stand out in a competitive freelance market.

Graphic design and web design are both important aspects of creating a visually appealing and user-friendly website. However, there are some key differences between the two disciplines. Graphic design is the art of creating visual compositions, such as logos, illustrations, and advertisements. It is concerned with the use of typography, color, and imagery to communicate a message.

Graphic design, web design are two very great skills to acquire, and they are not saturated or underrated, in every field there must be quacks, and there will also be competent hands that will always deliver the job, which ever one you choose to focus on, just make sure you are the very best, make your designs stand out, have enough portfolios to showcase to your potential clients and employers in order to convince them.

User contact is frequently absent from graphic design. Without user participation or involvement, the objective is to visually deliver a message or brand. User interaction and user experience are important to web design. Easy-to-navigate layouts are produced by web designers.

There's no field on earth that don't have competition, what sets you apart from other counterparts is the level of your mastery and competence, because there must always be quacks and half baked in any profession, so in order to avoid unnecessary competition, you just have to hone your skills.

If I were to choose, I will surely go for web design, but it might actually take you a longer time and consistency to learn Web design and might even seem tough when learning it on your own but then it's pay is huge.

Both graphic design and website design can offer lucrative opportunities in freelancing, but they have distinct dynamics. Graphic design, though competitive, provides diverse project options. Website design is equally in demand with the growth of online businesses. The choice between the two should align with your passions and strengths. Consider the potential for combining both skills, as some projects require elements of both. Success in freelancing often hinges on self-marketing and a robust portfolio. Ultimately, the more you love and excel at your chosen skill, the more likely you are to find it lucrative in the long run.

The main difference between graphic design and web design is in their purpose and focus. Graphic design is focused on creating static visual elements such as logos, posters, and illustrations. Web design, on the other hand, focuses on creating websites that are interactive and functional.
