Can you share the graphic design basics, or share the course(s) you have been following to master in this trending field?

For photoshop basic you can search for youtube video tutorials, tutorials really helps. You also can read those blogs about photoshop learn more about tools at first.

The Basics of Graphic Design: The Elements
There are in total six elements of a design which you need to be aware of: the Line, the Shape, the Color, the Texture, the Value and the Space.

Honestly there are no specific course online on graphic design basics. However I suggest you to do photoshop based or coreldraw based training. And this way you can learn about the graphics, color and the design based theory. You may not be able to learn this overnight. But there are some concepts which you can learn and then get ahead with that part. I have seen that most of the design tools can teach you about the graphics a lot.

If you are a fastlearner and you are also good in selflearning, then you should make those youtube videos your friend. There are also tons of free youtube videos online, a google search ain't bad you know. Some blogs also have free tutorials which you can take advantage of.

Get yourself adobe products, but if you are low on budget, try corel or some other alternatives online.

Firstly know about tool of Photoshop. Then use of tool.Next trace any design. Then create your own idea. Same process Illustrator . Thanks.

1. Load a picture in your photoshop cs6 or cc. Start playing with the easy tools on the left side of the screen (vertical side icons) such as Text, Eraser, Clone stamp, Gradient (or fill with color) , Cut , Brushes.
Do such things for 2 weeks or a month everytime you have free time and you feel artist. Also on the right side where you see "Layer1" for a text, right-click on it and select Blending Options...click on this and start playing by adding effects to texts such as Shadow, Stroke, Outer Glow (i think these are most important and most used). On the right side of the screen you will see "Styles" . Play with the styles on texts.
2. Time to expand database : Search on google for free fonts, free brushes and free styles and few free plugins. Install the fonts in the Operating System for good , instal brushes, styles in the proper subfolder from photoshop instalation folder.
3. Enjoy your new database and repeat step 1 :D
4. Load a human face or a copyrighted image and learn how to use clone stamp to remove face imperfections or copyrighted text.
5. Oh, you're getting closer to become advanced user. Congratulations ! Time to search for tutorials ,this will help you to achieve perfection . There are many free tutorials but the ones made by pros are not free. To get access to such tutorials for free you have to hunt for a free trial ,see https://creative.pluralsight.com/11/index.php (former Digital Tutorials) or https://www.lynda.com/ or any other website with paid subcription with tutorials. For example Lynda.com offers a 10 days free trial . Feel free to register and use this unique chance to access advanced tutorials for free for 10 days.
My first tutorial learned from a pro it was from Digital Tutorials about Complementary Colors  you will need such tutorial to create awesome greeting images, etc. even to decorate your house interior. (there is a scientific research that some colors are looking very good togheter).

Edit : if you want to purchase photoshop but you dont know which one, i say cs6 extended is good even if the cc is newer. The mainly difference is that CC is more based on sharing online images on adobe' servers galeries for showing off (in cloud) , a waste of extra money from my view point. You will be fine with CS6 .
Illustrator is based on vectors working ,not recommended for beginners in graph design.
If you are a student or you have a student friend you can get discount on prices ;).
You wont find to buy cs6 extended anymore to buy on adobe website but you can try in your city at the computer shops or from friends for the dvd.

You will have to pay out and invest your own money into courses. If you don't want to spend out and still learn the same information, I recommend watching YouTube tutorials on Graphic Design.

I already told about lynda which is paid sit but you can get a free account for one month or more, personally i had an account there and i can tell you that it is amazing site.

My graphic skills are very bad. My most used programs are Snipping Tools, Paint, MS Picture Manager, Word(I know, ???) and similar online pictures editors.
