I see a lot of people calling GPT websites PTC websites. This includes even some owners of GPT websites. But the two are not the same. PTC stands for Paid To Click, while GPT stands for Get Paid To. It's just like advertising and marketing .
Here advertising will be PTC and Marketing will be GPT. This is because Marketing covers both Advertising and Advertising is just a part of Marketing. My point is GPT websites are way more than ordinary PTC websites. I know PTC websites that are just strictly PTC. Those could be called PTC websites but GPT websites should not be regarded as PTC website.
In fact, following the literal meaning of GPT (Get Paid To), almost all the websites online that pay you to do anything including the very popular Fiverr, Upwork, transcription sites, whatever it is, can be called or classified under GPT (Get Paid To) websites, as long as you are Getting Paid To do something .
