From today, 1.7., Google start with a new SEO technique called mobile first. What does it mean? On Google Search results first will be indexed sites which have mobile version. More than 50% of websites don't have a mobile type of sites, although responsive design exists from 2010. What if you don't have mobile design? Your site can be indexed, but it can be lower than site which have both types of sites.

Do you have a mobile version of the site or responsive design?

it's good that google is making changes that bring about a healthy competition , mobile traffic is in much demand every person looks for mobile traffic instead of desktop as preferred option if he is an advertiser , mobile users are more engaged to ads versus desktop users in my opinion

mobile users are more engaged to ads versus desktop users in my opinion

One of reasons why they are it is in fact that there is much less adblockers for mobile browsers, than for desktop browsers. More ads it is show and more users click.

and more conversions as well thinking of as an advertiser you always want positive return on your investment along with growth of your product

google wants to give higher serach rankings to websites that has both versions that is why they are taking this initiative , mobile traffic is expensive and converting friendly vs desktop traffic

doesn't sound any bad , that will probably motivate the websites owners to add an external user interface for mobile users , which is a benefit for the site itself

This moves from Google is for the benefit of both the site and sites owners. Slot of people login to sites with their phones and if a site isn't optimised for mobile, then it losses out from mobile traffic. I hope site owners will adhere to this.

Google frequently updates its search algorithms to improve the user experience and provide more relevant search results. Here are some of the latest techniques and best practices for optimizing your website for search engines:
  1. Page Experience: With the recent update to Google's search algorithms, page experience has become an important factor in determining search rankings. This includes factors such as loading speed, mobile-friendliness, and user interaction.
  2. Content Quality: The quality and relevance of your content is still a major factor in determining search rankings. Make sure to publish high-quality, well-researched

However, Google regularly updates its search algorithms to improve the quality of search results for users. It's important for website owners to follow best practices for on-page and off-page optimization, such as creating high-quality content
