Google removed the following apps from google play store because they had scripts that send the users details to the developpers, the apps also contained a fake facebook login page to gather more data from people :

Maybe most of this app are self clicks App that people are building in order to generate traffic and earn. Most of the the app are not up to standard.

Actually no, as i said above, it leaks data to the developpers and creates fake facebook login page to get their hands on people facebook accounts too

Good move from Playstore in order to protect its users' privacy rights. Notice how some of them are created by Chinese developers. This will trigger more Chinese app ban.

This is one of the things google dislikes.

Oh the irony. Even though Google itself loves to hand out people's private data to third-parties and advertisers. They're no better than those apps.

This is one of the things google dislikes. They usually note this is their developers terms and conditions. Violating of this term causes immediate ban of apps.

Do you think someone that steals people data would be afraid that he won't click on ' i agree with rules and guidlines' ?, that's not lile any other rule, thats stealing people privacy which shouldnt be tolerated

Good move by Google. It shows that they have their customers at heard and's are ready to protect them. Fortunately for me, I think I have not actually downloaded any of the listed apps.

That's the best way to go about it @tray59. You better do that. I mean uninstall them from your system as soon as possible. Google certainly knows better than us, you know.

They looks like made by same owner both of them. I am not installing apps like these,but if you have any of them just unistall it for your safety.

Wow thanks for sharing this great information , currently I have one of the app on my phone , " file manager " . am installing it right now.
Most of these apps were verified by google play before , wonder what happened now .

well, the algorithms and bots are improving day by day, so maybe there was something that couldn't be recognized before, but luckily it is now

Wow, well done to Google for nipping this in the bud sharpish! Every day we take our lives into our own hands when we navigate the murky depths of the internet. When you hear that our confidential details are being sold all over the show by the likes of Facebooks and even our governments, it just goes to show you that Big Brother is always watching. We must be aware of some evil application. Bu the way, i only ever use video maker, but i dont know how many app named video maker

Yeah we must be aware of some evil application thats why most people use adblockers to block those malware ads and scam link that pops up

What I don't get is, how did they even get listed in the first place?? I would have thought to be listed, they'd have to be thoroughly vetted to avoid this sort of thing. It's worrying to say the least.

Yeah we must be aware of some evil application thats why most people use adblockers to block those malware ads and scam link that pops up

Yeah but adbocker is for web mostly. In many app those dont work. And the most important is to educate people to be internet user

The apps developers may have hidden something unwanted inside the app itself, and the review team on Playstore missed them.
