As reported by various news outlets, The department of Justice has filled in a lawsuit that go against Google due to the monopoly they have. So far, no regulation exists to keep Google from squashing smaller rivals and this legal case will pave the way for stricter regulation in the future. Currently, the case focuses on how Google monopolizes the search engine market and search-based advertising. Many state attorneys from different regions have joined force to bring Google to Justice.

I indeed saw on TV, on the news, days ago a news that just spoke that Google had been accused.

However, I also wanted to say that the commercial phone calls that I receive daily and many times a day disturb me a lot!
So I believe it is precisely Google, which sends my data (including phone number), through the use of cookies, to third parties!
I know well that I am not the only one with this problem, among my family and acquaintances.
So I wonder: to someone of you, happens by chance the same thing?

Despite the monopoly they have branches and have provide more employments opportunities for people and quality service,so the government sanctioning them should get prepared for a better alternative

Government indicted them doesn't mean they will shut down the company, they will force them to let go of the monopoly or faces huge fines.

It's going to be difficult because I don't think there will be any way to let go of the monopoly until they ban it ,since Google is very popular and widely used

They can if they're forced to, that's why this legal case exists. They should first do not try to disrupt other rivals, like they did in the past.

I try as much as possible to comprehend the subject matter and in my own understanding, if Google was not given a legal backing to operate solely in the market I don't see any reason why they can kill their rivals except they are doing that technically or professionally.

I am thinking that maybe Google used some form of magic to brainwash people into using only Google search engine?. Unless there are laws broken by Google in tackling their competition, then, the legal case is a ridiculous one.

Google needs to be broken up. They actively block competition and censor on youtube. They are a monopoly and what's worse they collude with the other tech giants to ensure their monopolies remain on top.

i heard that they are being sued also for spying on people when the users are browsing on incognito mode, i mean, who's dumb enough to trust the incognito mode on a browser LOL

Was just being sarcastic lol. What brainwashing would work on millions if not billions of people at the same time? The competition should sit up and strategize how to beat them if possible.

The fact is that there are other search engine out there and it is the people's choice to stick to Google thus I don't see any reason for sueing them to court

I use incognito mode to pervent load on history, cookie, catche etc. Nothing more is of any use in this mode, it only prevent too much junk and browser runs properly.

Yeah. In addition to that , they never forced anyone to use their products , it because people love their product thus any company that offers good product should be allowed to enjoy Monopoly
