Now that China has banned cryptocurrencies in the country, except they very own digital coin, I wonder if this works.

I'm not sure how they are going to integrate Blockchain Technology without the use of cryptocurrencies.

How will that work though? Will it be in circulation or just an asset of gold with Bitcoin design on it. Bitcoin's price is still not stable so giving a gold equal to the price of Bitcoin is not a good idea.
