I wanted to register on humanatic and they said I should first be registered on PayPal and verified but PayPal is asking for my card details. That is, my debit card. Can I give it out? Am scared coming from Nigeria.

Paypal is a trustworthy site and in order for a site to pay you they need this sort of accounts. Stay chill, you just need to add your card, they won't use it, it is just the normal procedure one has to make.

You can't verified your account without adding your card either debit or credit details to it because you wouldn't be adding a physical card but your card deails and paypal is a trustworthy company,so your details is absolutely safe with them.

Bank account is required to upload or withdraw money you receives in your paypal account , Linking your bank account is part of getting Verified, meaning you've confirmed ownership of a bank account by completing the required steps with PayPal.

You are right, it should only be given privately and as much as possible, give it only to those people and sitesthat is proven trusted too

Does Humanatic registration even work? I tried registering a couple of weeks back and couldn't go past the Paypal verification process, for whatever reason :/
