GigBucks.com is the second largest market place where freelancers go to sell their skills. The site is very similar to Fiverr and lets you post your jobs on the site starting at $5 for each gig you post. The most you can charge for your gig is $50.

About the site:

  1. This is a free site for freelancers and talented people to offer they gigs to interested persons looking to hire a person with these special talents.
  2. The site is free to post on and doesn't charge anything for joining the site.
  3. You can post as many gigs as you want on the site.
  4. The buyer searches the site looking for the gig he needs.
  5. He hires the seller, the seller performs the gig and the buyer pays for the gig.
  6. The seller is paid through PayPal, AlertPay, or Payza.
  7. You can also choose to have your pay credited to your GigBucks account.
  8. The more gigs you post the better your chances are of being hired. The site won't accept duplicate gigs or gigs that are similar to one you have posted. These types of gigs will be deleted from the site.
I don't find anything on the site saying that they will take part of your pay once the gig is paid for. The site is owned and operated by internet marketing veterans of 15 years.

I have never posted a gig on this site and was wondering if anyone has used it before.

Looking for feedback and how you like the site. Thanks.

I have a vast knowledge of sites, work, and things you can do online to earn money. It is just hard to know what people are looking for and what I should actually post or not. I have created a lot of threads about jobs and places people can go to write. A lot of them sit unanswered and it does look like a few people have read them. I did a lot when I first joined and now I don't do so mean. I tried a poll to ask people what they wanted and I only received one or two answers on this.

I am a fiverr user and i am wondering to know another such site alternative to fiverr i am very glad as it can double my fiverr earning per month ,i will soon join there and by the way thanx a lot !!......

Sure no problem at all. I know tons of sites and do a lot of research. One person I work with on this is talking about the two of us opening a blog or website together to inform people what is really happening online. Taking all the research I have done and making it public. They used most of the research I have done so far to write a few eBook on he subject. This is also a great opportunity for people to get the down and dirty truth about who scams them and who is legitimate.

I told you it was not a problem to help out and suggest this site. I also told you that I know many sites online to earn by and to work on to sell your talents online. Then I went on to tell you I do a lot of online research for a person. They want me to work with them and open a new website with all this information we have collected about online work and scams.

I think it is a good idea if you join this site. Like you said it can help you earn more money.

This site seems to be a very good way to earn. Unlike the Fiverr the maximum you can charge is $50. I guess this site is more professional and if you are highly skilled you are more likely to succeed.

It's a fiverr clone, I suppose. Well, I guess this requires more experience and skills. I may come back here if I lose my jobs since I am content with what I have right now.
I'm not so sure this is a clone of Fiverr. I thought I read somewhere that this site is well established and had been around for quite some time. I could be wrong, but I think this is a good site and people really respect it.

Gigbucks is a good alternative to Fiverr due to the high competition in the latter. Success here is like in most other places not automatic, you have to make sure that you post unique jobs, exceptional tags and high quality images to make the right impression to ensure success.

This can be alternative for those who are not able to compete in Fiverr. However like every site, this also depends on buyers, it will work only if buyers are interested.

I personally think the more sites you can post your talents on, the better your chances are of getting paid. The more you can get your name out there the more people will see it and remember it. That is what gets you noticed. Give a good pitch, charge a good price, and do a good job. You will earn more trust and get more work this way.

Ya you're right its better to compete with fiverr and its better than to try and take advantage as in fiverr millions are there who are waiting to work ;i will try it soon ,thanx !!...

If one system is flooded with people competing for work it is always good to find a different system that isn't. This way you have a better chance of making money and being picked to do the job.

Competition brings more choice for buyers, so they might like better competiton. However another question, as the point 6 says - The seller is paid through PayPal, AlertPay, or Payza.
But the truth is, Alertpay is defunct, it was purchased by a UK company and renamed as Payza.
So how they use Alertpay as option?

Sounds good but i am not that blessed on websites like Fiverr ot this GIGBUCKS. Will try to check it and i am sure its a legit one,
Thanks for sharing about this website.

Fiverr even not easy to get order without marketing the gigs it has high reputation and not easy to get gig sells. I think gigbucks is not like fiverr at all.
