After you setup your account start asking questions and answer in detail to those you the have knowledge, while you do this you may link to your article, don't over do it and keep your account safe.

I have an account there and I am using it for the youtube links mostly. I have not used it for the affilaite links. I have noticed that they ban the accounts that makes use of the affiliate links. So that is one more reason I have not taken risk. But for the videos it is working out for me. I am getting some regular traffic from the videos link posted on the quora. And it is not so far reported as spam or promotion.

Some people charge money for posting their site links on Quora, this is the way they get paid. You should have a powerful account that will make money like yahoo Level 5.
I made some money from Yahoo answers long back, but at the moment I cant.

I think you hit the nail on the head. Thanks. I think change of approach is more important and you certainly have right attitude to do well. Surely we can use Quora to increase for traffic.

I never really thought that Quora is such a huge site up until I read this post. I have visited the site quite a lot while searching for answers about almost anything. At times, they would not let you surf the site, asking you to register first before you can access their website. Now it makes sense to me.

LOL, you are right. Now you knew that you can add some traffic from there and do well and it will help you in a great way. But saying that still you need to be careful about posting links there.

Indeed it's a good traffic source but the only problem with this is that you have to get up votes or similar thing to drive more attention to your post or link.
Same with Reddit, Steemit sites.
But once you're on top or have enough votes, it'll jut go viral. Getting this amount is not kinda easy too tho..

Quora supports other countries than US and Canada. Most of the regional answer users are there. In fact most of the people in asia are posting there. I have found that it can be a good option for getting answers and also posting answers for most of your questions. You can post blogs, answers and also comments.

In those people are offering money to post answers in Yahoo and they make money from adsense or from affiliate sites.
I left all those things because of no time and run 2 blogs. In Yahoo you must have atleast level 4 in order to make money from others. In these most people left Yahoo and gone to Quora as it is an active community.

Yes, you can convert those traffic into money, also you can sell such type of methods to others.
Tell them I will offer 5 Answers on relevant questions with links for $5. There are lots of things, but at the moment I don't know if they are working or not.

Yes traffic is the only thing quora can offer. But you have to watch out where you are linking. Most of the quora answers gets upvote and downvote. And some of the time they even get bad traffic this way. I have seen people slapping the links on answers. And that's surefire way to get banned. Quora may give traffic but they have strict moderation. They just want your content often don't want you to benefit from link dropping.
