The recent increased attention to energy requirements of bitcoin mining has caused many regulations to be put into place to try and curb the negative environmental impact that these mining facilities have been having on the earth. With El Salvador now legalizing crypto, they have also produced a mining rig that is focused on mining bitcoin that uses geothermal energy that is from the volcano in the country. What are your thoughts on this?

Look at Iceland, there are many many datacenters. Every huge corp is active there since you get electricity for good price and the always low temperatures are perfect for cooling servers.

This power sources are working great near volcano areas, but coming with the risk if a volcano gets active, your data center is lost.
Other great sources of free and clean energy is tidal or wave power. Our oceans movements contain more energy than we need to power the world and all crypto miners

really dont understand how its going to be done ,but i know that volcano have more force but dont know if such or how it could be best used when it comes to mining

Hope that would be a good step toward a more environmental friendly bitcoin mining. We need more news like this for bitcoin to go past the current resistance levels. Thrust toward more greener energy source will be the main key for acceptance in many countries.

Elon Musk preached the adoption of a greener energy in bitcoin mining. El Salvador have been leading on bitcoin development and I hope other countries will follow too
Such kind of development is needed. When you say at a global perspective, the more countries that will lean towards crypto currencies the better it will become for the whole market.

El-salvador have shown great deal in mining BTC, and they've already started mining through geothermal energy gotten from volcanoes. I am believing that the country will reap IRS benefits as they are pushing for the coin growth.

I do agree with you and i think that it will also be encouraging for other countries as well because they will see how this country is managing the risks that come with mining cryptocurrency.
