I am investing my time into translation sites these days, as I realize it can be good money. I've signed into Gengo and Lingosaur, but there are a few others around. Can you give me any feedback on translating sites that are accepting translators?

Ever since I have started earning online, I was in search for translation job, i.e. English/Filipino because those are the only languages I know. I once was part of a team that created the subtitles for a Filipino movie and an English subtitle is required for joining internation film festivals. It was a fun job to translate and I didn't even get tired. Translating is easy and it's just sad that I can't find such a job.

Like we say where I live, it's like a thousand dogs to a bone lol. I was investing my time in the past few days looking for translation jobs, but it's hard. I posted in Fiverr, created profiles on Upwork and Lingosaur, made a few tests, so now it's a matter of waiting to see if something happens.

All this is extremely time consuming though.

I have tried my hands in translation jobs but unfortunately nothing substantial happened. Opportunities are less, and they are lesser for the languages that I'm able work in.
However, there're some opportunities in the bidding sites but snatching something out from there looked next to impossible. I gave up.

That's the thing, opportunities are not many. Just today I received an e-mail from Lingosaur and they want me to review the application of another candidate. I found this unusual because I wasn't even approved just yet. So I am not approved and I am reviewing others? For free. Strange, to say the least.

Found some sites from research but you need to be good to get accepted so try them out and see the one that suit your choice
Guru.com,ifreelance.com,translatorstown.com and traduguide.com

I have never heard about Gengo before. I joined lionbridge mainly for French to English translation. I am still waiting for a job from them. I even completed a test in which I scored 100%.

The sites mentioned above are legitimate cos I also told about it but I discovered the tasks and chances of acceptance are very low especially translatorstown.com
