Futurefees.com is a pretty well constructed scam, and they totally got me for tens of thousands of dollars. Here's how...

-First, they have these outrageous investment packages that pay back insane percentages in very short amounts of time. It's seems so clearly "too good to be true" but the numbers pencil out so positively that you could put in a very small amount of money and make millions within no time. So I thought "worth a shot" and tried it out.

-I started with a few hundreds bucks, something I was willing to lose to try this out. The investment lasted for 7 days and paid out exactly what they said it would. Great!

-Immediately I tried to withdraw this money, and when I processed the withdrawal there seemed to be a lag. So I reached out to customer service and they told me that anytime you try to withdraw money you have to confirm with their customer service. I thought this was kinda weird but I went with it to see where things went. They were able to process the withdrawal once I spoke to them, no fees or any hidden stipulations. The money showed up in my crypto wallet!

-So now I was ready to up the ante. I put in a few thousand dollars into one of their larger platforms. Before I knew it, that had turned into tens of thousands of dollars, which I rolled back into more investments. It seemed like I could only blink before my account was showing over 200k in profits.

-Now I wanted to withdraw some of these funds, while maintaining to roll some of the profits back into the account to continue to grow my investments. They happily took the money that I wanted to reinvest, but withdrawing money now became impossible.

-I wanted to withdraw 80k. They told me that because my account had reached a certain threshold that I needed to pay a taxation fee of roughly 15k. I was more than happy to pay 15k if it meant I could withdraw 80k from my account. But what was odd was that they wanted me to pay this fee from out of my own pocket, rather than just deducting the fee from the withdrawal. Like an idiot, I paid the 15k. All I could think about was the 80k that I was going to get in return.

-Once the 15k taxation fee cleared my account I was ready to withdraw the 80k. But wait, now they just "remembered" an insurance fee of 8.7k. Their reason was that hackers could steal the transaction, and this 8.7k would be able to secure the transfer. At this point I'm starting to panic a little inside because they now have over 20k of my money and were starting to make the withdrawal process phishy. After a little back and forth they ensured me that this was the final fee. So like an even bigger idiot, I paid it.

-Now I've paid 2 fees that were never disclosed up front, so I'm not entirely thrilled, but at least I'll get my 80k right? …Wrong. Of course, there is now ANOTHER fee that they forgot about, a 5.6k gas fee. Now I know for sure that I've been scammed, but I'm still trying to keep my cool. I don't pay this 5.6k fee, but instead give it a little time to think it over.

-I come back in a few days and talk to them again about the 5.6k gas fee, and although they had confirmed with me that it is absolutely the last fee, by the end of the conversation they "remembered" another fee. This one called a sending fee, for about another 4k. I left the website for a few more days.

-When I came back I demanded to speak to a supervisor about using the fees that I've already paid to at least withdraw a portion of my funds. They "spoke" to the management team and came back with a negotiated price of about 1.5k to cover both the gas fee and the sending fee, and then I can withdraw about 30k. I confirmed with them multiple times that this was the final fee, and I took screenshots of the conversation to prove it later.

-At this point I figured "what's another 1.5k to see if I can hold them to their word?" So I paid the 1.5k, waited about an hour on the line with them to confirm that they received it. Once they had confirmed payment receipt, they told me they would release the funds. Then a few minutes went by, and a few more, and a few more…until finally they got back on the line with me, confirmed my wallet address to send the funds, and proceeded to tell me that I still had to pay one more fee of $1,000 to process the withdrawal.

-This is when I finally lost my cool. I called them out, showed them the screenshots of the conversation we had just had about the final fee amount we agreed upon, and threatened to expose them using review websites like this one. They of course don't care about any of that, they've already taken me for tens of thousands of dollars at this point. But I feel like it's my duty to show in great detail how I was scammed, so anyone else out there who is considering taking this risk will think twice about it.

My account is now "worth" over $1,000,000 because of the other investments that I had rolled back into the platform but I can't withdraw a penny of it
