Hey guys, have just come across this app called "Freetrade" - an app that allows you to buy and sell shares.

If you open an account and make a £1 deposit, you will get a random share worth anything between £3 - 80. (just like Trading212). Low chance of getting £80 share, but you've got nothing to lose.

As soon as you deposit £1 into your account, you will get a message saying that your free share will be revealed in 7-10 days. You don't need to buy or sell anything, just make a £1 deposit and wait for your free share to be allocated.

Once you get your free share, you can sell it straight away, but have to wait 30 days to withdraw the funds !

Hi @berberguy , when you download and sign up for a Freetrade account, it will ask you for your bank account details so you can link it with the app, once that's done you can make a bank transfer to deposit the £1 for the FREE share !

Or you can login to your bank account and make a £1 deposit to the Freetrade account below



Also add the "Unique Basic Account Reference", a 12 digit code made up of letters and numbers, which will be given to you once you open an account with Freetrade, everyone's code is different,

As far as I am aware, you can only make a deposit / withdrawal through your bank account,

So yeah, that's about it, once you deposit the £1, just wait 7-10 days to be allocated a free share !

Ok, it's not £80, but that's the luck of the draw, and it was FREE !
