Youtube has a movie maker which is free for download. You can upload your own clips and even create your movies using this software. I have downloaded it and use it quite often.

I was using windows movie maker in the past, but viewing this site shows a lot of features with them. I really love this software for installing in my PC.

I've tried many free video editing software and I was very disappointed, first thing I didn't like was that watermark you have to place in your videos, imagine your video with this message " This video was made with PIECEOFSHIT Free Software!", the second thing I didn't like was the limitations, you need to buy this addon to be able to do that, you need another extension and so on...

Tried almost every "FREE" video editing software from the INTERNET and I come to this conclusion:

1. I go pro and get the best VIDEO edit software and do my best

2. I stop my Youtube journey, no video marketing whatsoever

And of course I bought Adobe Premiere Pro CC and never looked back, it a pleasure editing videos and video rendering is at light speed with my $5,000 workstation.

I'm not sure about that software. I own a YouTube channel, and I upload gaming videos. As a YouTuber, I use Windows Movie Maker and it's worked out for me. I would recommend this editing software, it's a useful program to edit videos.

I am going to buy the Filmoar software this tuesday. I am going to make some professional videos from here onwards. So I maybe needing that. I don't want to rely on the free videos. As most of them are nothing but the trouble in that case. As they require more time for editing and managing. So for Windows 7 i came to know that the fimora seems to be a good option. So that's worth checking out.

If you need hours to render, you better go PRO like it is suggested.
You will easily lose your nerves if you need hours, not to Edit, but to render, because most of the FREE YouTube video makers will kill your wish to live, they are so slow.

Have you ever heard of Sony Vegas Pro ? I've used both Sony Vegas and Adobe Premiere and I for some reason prefer Vegas more .. maybe because im used to it.It must be so easy on your beast PC to render videos at speed of light

This comment made me LOL, but that is so true. Quality doesn't come cheap. We spend a lot of time creating good content might as well use the best tools for best experience and result.

I agree with you @Blue Koala have to spend a lot of time to create a good content and be patient because the that we result does not come quickly, but the most important thing is to love what you do.

I'm not sure when they changed it; but I believe you now have to pay for Windows Movie Maker. You can use some features of there program of editing. Movie Maker is quite good for creating good videos on YouTube, and quick videos you want to easily edit!

I have used many video editing software on my windows PC and I prefer Adobe premier. I have also worked with Final cut pro but I am yet to try out final cut x. The two are the market leaders and they will work well for you and give your work that professional touch.

Sony Vegas Pro and Cyberlink Power Director used by some pro to do their video editing.i used them when i was making dota videos, i even introduced that software to a basketball coach to edit their game and some basketball play. If you wanna be a pro use that and youll see for yourself.
