Blogger is mainly recommended for creation of blogs even though you can use it for creation of landing pages but it may not all the necessary elements as blogger requires to good knowledge in programming language before you can create a professional looking page. Wix editor or wordpress maybe a better option.

It's only a web editor and you use it for for creation your web. You site will only have the watermark of wix and I think that's normal with any free web builder. Generally, the don't display ads on your web, you control your web and manage it the way you want but you can never get rid of the watermark until you buy your own domain and hosting.

Well of you way so,lets believe wix is fairly good and should be given the benefits of some doubts.As for me blogger remains my favourite choice

I'm using google sites, it's quick and easy. Blogger indeed requires efforts to create attractive landing pages.

I recently discovered google sites and it's currently the one l'm also using. I tried blogger landing page for sometime ago but I could see it wasn't easy to make it more attractive like you said.

Using i paid blog is much more effective because it has easy and understandable call to action. But you can still use google sites or blogger but that will not give you the best conversion.
