How much free time you have and what skills you have?

Here is a list of things you could do:

• Become a transcriber: There are websites that will pay you to transcribe audio files (Rev.com is the highest paying one, but you'll need to pass a test first; you can also caption videos and translate stuff, there).
• Sell t-shirts: If you have some nice ideas, you can make your own t-shirt designs and sell them (Teespring is the most popular one, you have almost full control over price). You can use free softwares like Inkscape and GIMP to make them. Also, websites like Redbubble will also let you sell other merchandise (mugs, posters, even pillows, and much more).
• Surveys and tasks websites: The internet is full of them, although it may take more time to earn something on them. Swagbucks is the most used one for surveys (you can also use Google Opinion Reward, if you need Play Store credit), whereas Clickworker and Leapforce are the best for various tasks. Go for them if you are from the US.

• Work as a freelancer: Coder, designer, writes, translator, it's up to you. The most popular website is Fiverr (you can only get payed a maximum of 5 dollars, though; quantity over quality, I guess), but you can also propose yourself for a lot of projects. They're great as work experiences for your CV, too.
• Write reviews: Some websites will pay you to review various products, like songs (SliceThePie) or apps (BestReviewApp). Again, it's quantity over quality here.
• Flipping: I don't know much about this one, but you basically buy things at low price to sell them at a higher one. Craigslist will be your bread and butter. This also works for things like Steam keys (G2A is the way to go).
• (If you need Steam Credit) Sell Steam Cards: Alright, this is more specific, but you may still need it. Sites like Indiegala regularly give away free games: they're not great, but most of them have cards. Once you get a good number of them, selling them on the Marketplace will let you gain enough to buy some games during sales.

Yeah Forum For u is another free way to earn money online and its a nice way as well. The only think i dislike is they have the max limit on withdrawal and even the 10 % withdrawal fee.

I have been quite successful working on Fiverr lately.

Created my own digital product which is a list of 300 different cryptocurrency faucets, this was actually a custom request from a guy in Germany that paid me $40 to do this for him and since then I have sold it a few times. So did the work once and now earning passive income.

Additionally I offer my writing services such as making insightful comments on peoples blogs or websites and charge about $1 per comment that can range from 30 - 100 words.
I finished one of these gigs today and got paid $10 for 10 quality comments. Hopefully the guy will give me a tip as I made an effort to provide insightful quality comments

Hi @Kambas thanks for posting this information. I never knew you can get paid for making comments on fiverr. I am looking for sites for writers and checking out my options. I currently am on bulkcomments but would like better paying options. Would surely try this out. Thanks for posting the above.

I would suggest selling stuff that you already have at home on eBay. You probably won't get your whole $2000 but it could help make a dent!

I'd suggest selling stuff you don't have too(DropShipping), list on eBay a product at 100$ that you buy and send from China at 60-70$

This is not as simple as it sounds so one needs to prepare ahead of time.
You must first go though some verification processes before you can sell on eBay and there will be restrictions at the beginning.

Don't forget about eBay charging you a 10% sale fee and you or your customer might have to cover custom duty fees.
Focus on hot selling items like gadgets, technology and regular consumables.
It can also take a while to get going if you start a fresh seller account and have no ratings or credibility.

Yes, eBay was just a suggestion. There ar other selling platforms and even apps wehre you can do this. While the fees are allways present their verifications are easier to pass. However both as a seller and a buyer I think this are necessary steps to prevent scams

What skills do you have. Maybe it will be better to focus on something you are really good at doing because you won't make much money with forums.
BMF is an exception however but if you post trash than @Mr. B won't like that.
If you post helpful comments that aid the community than you will fit right in :)
