How much free time you have and what skills you have?

Here is a list of things you could do:
  • Become a transcriber: There are websites that will pay you to transcribe audio files (Rev.com is the highest paying one, but you'll need to pass a test first; you can also caption videos and translate stuff, there).
  • Sell t-shirts: If you have some nice ideas, you can make your own t-shirt designs and sell them (Teespring is the most popular one, you have almost full control over price). You can use free softwares like Inkscape and GIMP to make them. Also, websites like Redbubble will also let you sell other merchandise (mugs, posters, even pillows, and much more).
  • Surveys and tasks websites: The internet is full of them, although it may take more time to earn something on them. Swagbucks is the most used one for surveys (you can also use Google Opinion Reward, if you need Play Store credit), whereas Clickworker and Leapforce are the best for various tasks. Go for them if you are from the US.
  • Work as a freelancer: Coder, designer, writes, translator, it's up to you. The most popular website is Fiverr (you can only get payed a maximum of 5 dollars, though; quantity over quality, I guess), but you can also propose yourself for a lot of projects. They're great as work experiences for your CV, too.
  • Write reviews: Some websites will pay you to review various products, like songs (SliceThePie) or apps (BestReviewApp). Again, it's quantity over quality here.
  • Flipping: I don't know much about this one, but you basically buy things at low price to sell them at a higher one. Craigslist will be your bread and butter. This also works for things like Steam keys (G2A is the way to go).
  • (If you need Steam Credit) Sell Steam Cards: Alright, this is more specific, but you may still need it. Sites like Indiegala regularly give away free games: they're not great, but most of them have cards. Once you get a good number of them, selling them on the Marketplace will let you gain enough to buy some games during sales.
Combine them for the best results. Do you have other ways to earn money? share them

I have given up from these ptc and gpt sites long time ago because I know that no matter what, there will less offers
for me to earn. even on surveys
they offer, I always get disqualifieds .
I think they just lure us with sign up bonus to keep us visiting the site daiy for offers and they make money through impression. When once one sign up within few times one become disqualified or has limited task.just too bad.

Most of the GPT sites are meant for Tier1 country members, but sometimes I managed to complete some offers there.Though I don't have the time and patience to check that often, but there are sometimes some surveys or offers.

I think the survey would be much better if done on the main site rather
than doing it on gpt sites. On my experience, there is a bigger chance to qualify on main sites than doing the survey on gpt sites.

I never get lucky both ways,I think surveys hardly works for Africans,be it in apps or on the web but they would lure us to keep trying and making money from impression.I have stopped bothering myself with them, would try other tasks rather.

Yes,there are many survey sites, like Citizenme,Globaltestmarket, etc on which many members are doing great and earning well,as I have seen from the payment proofs.I didn't catch any survey on Citizenme, and I couldn't sign up on GTM.

I am sorry yo hear that, but I am still glad thatbunlike other sites, there are forums like bmf and forum coin that gives equal opportunity for all their members from different country.

If there would not have been those pay to post forums then we would still be working on those PTC/GPT/captcha sites where it takes longer to reach for payout. Also, many survey sites just don't work for us. I am thankful to all those forum owners giving is an opportunity to earn online as well learn about many things and make friends across the globe.

These days we all have so many choices to join websites which suits us as per our desires and interest and all these websites are free so we all can earn some money from it. If we are good at writing then there are many writing legit and free websites to earn.
It is never easy to earn from writting sites cos you will need to polish your work to earn and knowing the pattern of english to use is also important

Yes,you are right about it.You will need skills in writing to be accepted by different freelancing sites and trying to get jobs from there. There are some members as I have seen here, who are active in different freelancing sites and doing great there.

There are many other free ways to earn money online and I don't think we should stick with one way. Like we can add different websites like writing, micro task and even ptc if we are sure of its legitimacy.

yea, site or forum owners are doing great for us ,for giving us the opportunity to earn and they actually pay and on time too unlike these PTC sites even with their low pay still turn scam at the end of the day.

It is good for every new online earner,if he happens to find paid to post forums,he will spare much time this way.He can earn well from the forum, and he will read the truth about every online site and earning opportunities from the members posts.

Yeah that is right, if not because of these pay to post forums, we will have no choice but to keep working on gpt and ptc sites since it is one of the easiest sites to work with.

I always think that virily is a great and free way to earn money online but lately I'm unable to spend more time on it.. We can earn from viewing other posts and making comments, posting ours and from others viewing our posts. So it's a good way to earn.

Those types of site that will require the help of members to earn, I guess one must have the stragtegy to bring his friends and encourage them to join the site. If they do not like it, maybe thinking of a very good article that will attract the member to view and read the post can really help.

@Suprasinch it very possible what @Yugocean said is very true cos most good paying sureveys do have their target and it mostly centered on places that they get returns from or places they are planing to embark on projects to in future

Surely surveys are a great way to earn money online freely and actually many are already earning well from there. But it's not easy for all to earn from surveys as demographic details play an important role in that.

Survey will no longer be a good use as there are so many survey sites and even advertisment of survey are getting less trusted. For free earning, we have to keep checking and keep with those that pays more , because our time and efforts also cost.

Survey will be great if only they will give equal offers from every country either you are from tier1 country or not. But unfortunately, those who are outside tier1 country gets less offer from these
sites.

I always see that we make more efforts to earn money online freely and end up with lesser amounts but those who are good with surveys. Earns greater rewards only for there lesser efforts and actually surveys can help earn very well.
