Today I want to ask the knowledgeable people that, are you guys aware of any free vps that can be accessed worldwide?
it would be very much helpful if someone can help me with this.

You won't find any free vps.
But if you have a credit card you can get a trial vps from amazon wed service,azure and some other providers.Otherwise vps doesn't cost too much these days

thanks so much for the information. ive heard there are some free vps. but i am unable to find one like that. may be the information was wrong. i dont want to use a credit card online. that is why looking for a free vps.

There is no free service in VPS. Why? VPS is similar remote control of distance computer and that can be big security risk for computer owners. That's way is not free.

There is one thread here on BMF. Unfortunately i can't find it. But that company offered the free VPS. And it was not a bad service. All the features were there and it was kind of good offer. But it seems like I can't remember the name. Do check out post to host type of forums where they offer such hosting.

thanks so much to both of you. Actually there are some free service or free trials available, but they ask for a credit card, which i dont want, so there is the problem. since i am not from USA, we dont have much opportunities to take surveys, that is why im looking for a free vps.

Free VPS is bad VPS. But if you are certain you want to go the free route, I used Babvps. Beware that pretty much every free VPS oversells, so your vps will go out randomly. If you can get some cash, check out lowendbox.com for a deal.

Edit: Found this one too skysilk.com/products/cloudplatform but did not use it myself. Might be worth a try tho.

thanks for the help. i tried to signup with babvps. unable to sign up and the sign in page doesn't load.
regarding lowendbox: i dont have any online money yet, so i cant spare any.
lastly, skysilk is for lynux, i dont know its use. so it wont work for me either. thank you anyways :)

I think instafree or OHosti can be a great VPS but I prefer SolVPS because it seem to be more reliable with at least 99.9% uptime, one can have about 256MB RAM and 15GB storage space,bandwidth is about a thousand GB.So you just have to research more and see if it fit what you need it for.

VPS means Virtual Private Server and is used in cases you need more resources then a shared hosting service provides.
In VPS you have root access and you can install and run anything you want for as time as you don't break the provider T.O.S.

Occasionally, if you catch a recently started up VPS company, they'll be happy to provide low-power VPSes for free while they test the stability of these services. However, if something's free, it's unreliable - I wouldn't recommend using anything free for production instances.

Why not DIY? You could buy a cheap Raspberry Pi (the Pi Zero is the cheapest) or, if you need more power, an Asus TinkerBoard, and just leave it running and connected at home. Higher initial outlay, but you'll get the money back in money that you don't spend monthly on a VPS, and you'll be in complete control. Just make sure to speed test your internet to make sure it's good enough (use Ethernet cables for better network performance).

I found a free VPS linux once before with very limited recourse power like 256 Mb of RAM and 1 Gb space , but you control it by the commands .

You never told us what VPS site, it could be great if you gave the name. I like free things, testing it would not be a bad deal. I don't mind how low quality it is, what I am given free I do not rate down.

So I've just ordered a Free VPS - I had to put in my address and things, and even though you had to select "PayPal" as payment method, I was not asked for my paypal details. My status is currently "Pending".
They sent 3 different emails confirming my order, which is a little odd, but no matter, it seems to have worked nonetheless. I'll update you as to whether the server ever appears or not when I can. :)
