I want to know how do you gain followers/subscribers/friends on the following social media sites:

Twitter
Pinterest
Instagram
Youtube

I find Facebook easier than expected in the sense that when you add someone, they will most likely accept your friend request. But what about the social media sites I've mentioned above, how does one gain followers on those sites?

Thank you.

Just be active and post interesting content. I believe bring followers that will be specifically integrated on your niche.
That's correct. I follow a lot of people on Facebook and a day will never pass without me checking on their pages. If I check on you twice and I don't see any interesting thing to read about, I unfollow you immediately.

There is no free method in which you can again follow the subscribers you have to pay for that things but if you really want to free then you should post the link of your profile to your friends and family they will join you free of cost.

Sadly for me, people here don't tend to support each other here. Ironically, the minute they see that you've made it, that's when they start showing some interest by liking your page and sharing your content - when you least need them. It's just strange.

I strongly disagree with most replies in this thread because if you want your followers to be active and genuinely interested in what you're doing, I think you should try to promote your social media accounts to people that you know will be interested. Try reaching out to them via related communities and such.

You could of course use the other tips in order to get started, but not for long-term.
Best advice.
Agree. I am selling some products via Facebook lately, I found the response is quite overwhelming. First, it is because of the product is in need , second we push the product at the right time and with polite way, yet touch the heart of the potential customers.
That's the magic key. You have to be genuine and actually care about the people enough to provide a solution that helps them

They will follow you.

Consistency also helps.

CREATE A YOUTUBE ACCOUNT THAT YOU WILL POST STUFF RELIGIOUSLY AND THEN IN IT POST ALL YOUR LINKS TO YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM AND ALSO HAVE A WEBSITE THAT IS CLEAN AND EASY TO NAVIGATE AT, WHILST PROMOTING YOUR CHANNEL USING ADSENSE

I'm quite curious about running the YouTube channel for my blog. But I do wonder if it's actually suited to what we do. I think the YouTube channel works best if you have a lot of video content, which we don't, sadly.

If you want to build your network in the social site for free, the only thing that works is through cross sharing. In other words, you can share your page details on twitter and ask your twitter followers to like your page, and vice versa. Second method that also works is by posting interesting content that encourages people to follow you.

I'm actually having to review and revise that strategy because I don't feel the people in my country are sharing the love. In short, we always share their posts, yet they don't return the favour:rolleyes: So I decided in the last week that I'm no longer doing any of that because I'm not getting anything out of it anyway?

Different social media works with different algorithms so you need different approach to gain followers for each site. Like on YouTube, title, thumbnail & tags are very important. But, it becomes irrelevant if your content is bad.

Well, I did not mean that you share other pages/posts in a hope that they will share yours. When I can cross sharing, what I actually mean is you can ask your twitter followers to follow you in instagram, you can ask your facebook friends to follow you in twitter.
No, I think you got your wires crossed there! I wasn't by any means saying YOU said that should be the case at all. I was merely stating what I observe in my country, my conclusions of the way things work here and why I've decided to take the stand not to share other people's pages and posts. To my mind, it seems only fair that if we are all trying to get publicity of our pages/posts and solicit support from others, we should also be nice enough to return the favour.

First of all there are many apps and trick which can boost your followers but don't be happy these followers leave your account soon and if stayed then not react on any of your posts, so if you want loyal followers then you must be a great youtuber, website owner model or creator.

Share more interesting posts.Ask your friends or ask around for getting more fans, say give a free gifts for those able to attract 50 followers for your group.
OR, set a rule, new comers must get 50 followers before they able to come in and join the group.
I agree with you. Another thing is that. One need to look for groups or fan page with huge members, get there name. After that, create your own page or group with same name. People will think it is there real group or page and will be forced to join.

There are many websites and apps out there that you can buy likes and followers. Some websites offer free services only in return, you will follow others. You can also try to download on Google Play Store and type sub for sub. They are free to use

Definitely, I think Facebook is the easiest way you can gain followers. You can then try to use your mind and convince them to follow you on other social medias. This method actually works but it requires effort.

Hi, I think that social media exchangers would be the best for you. For example Addmefast, earn points by following other people and then use these points to get followers/likes etc.

Start writing a good content regularly, you will see how you will attract followers who will start liking your page and also attract more of there friends to your post.
