So far the highest paid interest crypto mediums I've found is

That is what I am saying. There are many countries with such criminal records. You can't just blame one two country for this. Maybe the registration was done in other domain, doesn't necessarily mean it is the hub of Scamsetrs

Oh yes. In fact I would say if the registration was done in some country then the scammer will almost for certain NOT be in that country. They need to hide and so will do anything and everything they can to appear to be in a country that they are not in.

That is how HYIP sites operate. They can go scam anytime and there is nothing you will do about it. There is no government regulations that govern them. I had not noticed though that most of them are based in the UK.

Since there are no regulations for them, I think it all comes to an individual's responsibility to avoid them. Since you know they will go scam, it is best to stop investing in them..

As was discussed earlier in the thread most of them are NOT based in the UK at all, quite a lot use a fake UK business license to try and convince people they are legit but that's all.

It's just human nature (for lots of people anyway), take casinos, we all know that the house always wins, but people keep dreaming ~ because it is possible to earn from HYIPs people will keep trying!

Oh there is no point in checking the whois. All that will tell you is where the scammer is NOT from!!! The Whois database is totally useless, I don't understand the point at all, when you register a domain you can put down ANY information at all, nothing is checked. If you try registering a domain with the name Mickey Mouse and address Disneyland - it will work!!
