Joseph Hall, former US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) executive, thinks Ripple is likely to win the SEC case.
His views are as follows:
---- "The jury can say this:' If XRP is a problem, you have known XRP since 2012. Why now? What's going on here? 'So I think the SEC started the XRP case with a realistic stance that is not a good choice. So the SEC seems likely to lose this. "----
What do you think of this former official's views?

I think what a former manager, who has knowledge of such matters, said is very valuable.... I think these announcements raise the hopes of XRP investors a little more...

That is actually what ripple and its investors desire the most. If this is his opinion even as an ex official of SEC, then, we can be hopeful for ripple.
I think this is the most promising explanation that came recently. Moreover, it is even more promising that it is done by a former official. I hope XRP investors get out of this business harmlessly.

It's just his opinion, unless he's directly involved in the case I don't think he can change anything. I'd rather wait until the case settled before speculating like this.

Well, as for me, all I want is what will make ripple to win the lawsuit . Let them use any strategy available to them because investors are counting on them

I have no investments in XRP, but I really want them to win this case. I regret the loss of small investors who have no sin. I hope they are well prepared for this case and they will turn the situation in their favor by making realistic defenses.

Having one of them. Even if it's former. It's kind reassuring at some sense that they're saying it can win with the case. That would be first win against SEC if ever. Hopefully they do win.

The statements of this former official are like this for now and I think they have given both hope and morale to the investors. Maybe it will be what she says and XRP will not suffer much from this business.

If this ex sec official is starting to backup ripple then all I can say is that ripple needs more of these supporters who might be able to understand from which angle the SEC might attack in the lawsuit.

I hope she's right and since the people who made the case charged at ripple already quit maybe there's really a chance to win. That would benefit a lot of people

I think the first hearing of the case, where we can get small tips about the answers to the questions we are curious about very soon, is approaching. Even though I am not an investor, I wonder how this process will be.

I wonder why it is taking too long to have the case brought to a conclusion. I think winning the case will help users to be at peace when trying to invest in ripple same with other crypto currency

Yeah of course I believe ripple could win the case ,they have many backing and assurance that they are clearly not a security ,so ripple would win

RIPPLE GONNA WIN

This case has been drawn out for long and though it's not good for Ripple, it's also not helping the reputation of the SEC if they can't reach a conclusion as it makes them look incompetent.

I guess this case will be the way it is at the moment while Ripple won't consider it as a distraction but continue to make progress.

This article have been made 10 months ago, still the case between Ripple and Sec goes on. I wonder when the final jurisdiction will take place to determine who won and lost in the case. But nonetheless, Ripple coin isn't affected by the lawsuit any longer and that's a plus to the creators.

Your last line is the truth, it shows the love people have for toppled even me I like the coins a lot so it good that it hasn't been affected by the law suit that was instigated. Just like you im wondering same, I understand the holding of the case for this long but it is good that it isn't affecting the coin itself

Yeah, I'm okay by the fact that, the lawsuit isn't affecting Ripple cryptocurrency any longer. Ripple have gained momentum and the price have recovered fully. The thing they are simply looking forward to, is the decision making from the court of law, to go favourable.
