I have tried all aspects of sports betting and I have discovered that making reasonable profits from it is not easy at all. In the end if you are not careful, it can affects one's finances negatively.

I don't do forex trading for now, but I see many testimonies of people saying they make consistent profit from it. But it seems I would need more capital for Forex.

I am not in favor of gambling and sports betting is some what like gambling. So trading is thousand time better than gambling. Earning with trading is depends on our efforts and skill, but it is also right some time we need good luck to earn with trading. Luck work in trading when we work hard.

Both are somehow similar because you're predicting an event to occur. However trading forex is better than sports betting because you have an advantage to control your funds in forex. You can employ stop loss to help save your capital and you can get profits over a period of time. For sports betting, once you lose your money is gone for good. Try to recover to no avail. Forex gives you leverage from your broker too.

I have now seen why forex trading is better than sports betting.
I will never allow people to talk me down on forex trading. Forex trading if you maximize all the tools and indicators, their are chances that you could make money from it.
But the chance of getting money from sports betting is luck....

Sports betting is based more on luck and less on basic financial knowledge, while forest trading puts your mind to work, if you are a good strategist, you will certainly succeed in the market, but it requires a lot of work. Sports betting is preferable for those who want to earn an additional income by "doing nothing". Forest trading is a changing market and there needs to be a lot of adaptation. Good luck

In my opinion, forex trading is far better than Sports betting. I know forex isn't that easy. But after few tries and proper knowledge, you may make some profit. On the other hand, not only sports betting, any type of betting is so risky! It doesn't require any skill. It just totally depends on your luck. I don't think you can ever make a good profit on the long run through sports betting but with forex, you can.

Exactly, sports betting you do not need any financial knowledge to be able to succeed in it. It is based on luck as rightly said.
Unlike forex trading which requires a lot of mental thinking and decision.
So forex trading can not be compared with sports betting even though both of them are risky....

Both forex trading and sporting betting involves risk, there's no guarantee you can earn from a stake or trade, it's a 50/50 chance for both, but I'd say forex trading is more sustainable in the long run, because more logical analysis are made, and you have access to certain tools, that could make you win a trade. Going further you have access to leverage and that's a great privilege.

It think its not good to compare these two , simply because you can earn from forex trading consistenly if you have knowledge, whereas in gambling even if you are experiences you could lose substantial amounts of money in seconds.

This is actually a funny and even hard question to answer. I actually don't want to be put in a position to choose one among the two. Even though they are different, the two looks like gambling to me. It no involves losing or gaining of money. But in a long run, i prefer sport betting.

I don't take the two to be gambling. Sports betting alone is gambling, but forex trading involves strategy and use of skills to earn profits.

The fact that you can learn the skills makes forex trading less risky than sports betting. Plus there are features in forex trading such as the stop loss that prevent you from loosing all your money.
