Freebies Flip/Resell Tutorial.

My most profitable venture yet.
It's a bit more work and it involves a mixture of On an OFF -line strategies.

This varies based on your location, but what you'll need is just a connection and sometimes an investment sum usually I try keep it below 10 € most of the times it's very useful having a means of transportation as well. Most importantly Patience.

Here's what and how I do it,

Use eBay and FaceBook marketplace and Shpock or similar local alternatives(I don't have Craigslist) see what sells in your areea.
Let's use an example, what I found sells quick in my areea are Tv/Monitors with decent ammount of Ports. Usually within the week.

Now we "Source" meaning, once you got a few targets put the apps on the look out, as well as dumpster dive for them, due to how our new garbage collection functions now a lot of times larger objects can't fit so they'll just be on the curb.
Free products yay!

Usually people tend to overprice in my areea so I just enable notifications until they drop the price to 20/10 € or so, I've found that it's easier than haggling of course this may depend.

Test the product , especially if electronic or appliance.

So... We've got junk that people either threw away or almost failed to sell making the price drop from usually 50/60€ to 20/10€ , how am I going to make a profit out of this you're asking?

As it turns out, you just need to be better at marketing and Platforms.

Most of the sales especially on Facebook MarketPLace will have a very minimalistic description if any at all , no tags either or unaprppriate tags and cheaply looking pictures.

So Now we fix that even with no knowledge on the subject at hand, thanks to google.

Wipe, Clean and Restore the object if need be, this is easily done by watching a tutorial on:

YouTube, WikiHow and Instructables.
-Only thing to look out is if it's worth it to fix, a lot of times for couches for example it's not, the products for repairing leather will cost a lot and eat too much off your sale UNLESS the couch was free and you could sell it for at least double the product cost I personally don't think it's qorth the effort , cost and time. That's something you'll need to evaluate.

Find a position with a clean BackGround , Take Pictures from ALL angles , make them look as good as possible(Good angles, Close ups, Lighting and defects as well if any you couldn't repair) and enough to cover the Maximum Allowed Pics on the Platform you'll be using. Usually around 10 pics.

Use any software/app to Add measurments on one[ONLY ONE, don't over do it] of the pics as well.

Where almost done. Now Google the Object you have , usually anything has a serial number, model number or even a straight up NAME.
Based on the product obviously. Google it or it's Technical sheet and copy paste it. Use All the appropriate tags you can think of.

This way it will look much more Professional than it's original listing and have a better search optimization.

I prefer using Shpock and FaceBook Marketplace because local sale is fast sale.
-But the very big advantage we have over the aunty thast posted the product ONLY in one place, is exactly we can Make one listing and copy paste it over all the platforms we know! wich are usually atleast 2 more.

But using your judgement you can determine what is worth shipping and what is not on a platfrom like eBay.

It's also good having a means of transportation as to offer Delivery to your customer, this may seem trivial ,but it'll up your sales on the local level.

It will indeed require some trial and error to see what sells and what doesn't but once you figure that out you'll be on a roll.
It's not going to make you rich but I've made more out of this than any other online venture I've tried.
Only tip don't get discouraged, because you won't sell in the blink of an eye, it may take up to one week of waiting even for the "HOT" stuff to sell. Some stuff won't sell at all even if it's sale history is saying it does. etc.

So try to assign a storage space Ideal to your Place. I try to not accumulate anything bigger than microwaves.

So to put it simple:

1- Research what's selling in your area.
2-Find it cheap or free
3-Clean it and fix it if need be
4-Make a Better and Good looking listing, on every single selling platform you know.
5- Forget about it until someone messages you about it.

Hope it'll help you guys too .

Shoe repair is also a great activity. Good shoes are very expensive and you can offer repairs. Take super glue, a pack of nails, an awl and a rope. That's it, now you are a master of your craft. I think the author should add this item to his great "online earnings" topic.
