There are mainly two types of account in forex. The fixed spread accout and the floating one. Both have their own advantage and disadvantages.

The fixed spread account will charge yoh fixed spread for a specific pair. Like spread EUR/USD is fixed at 2pips or 1.5 pips. The fixed spreads are generally higher than the floating spread.

While in floating spread, the average spread is very low like 0.3 or 0.5 pip for the above pair. But in the time of volatility it may go upto 10 pips for q sudden time. Which is why most of the traders don't prefer this spread type. Which spread type account do you prefer? I also prefer fixed one.

I have used alot of brokers and I have had the experience of using fix spread and floating spread.
I can assure you fixed spread is far better than floating spread, I have had on hand experience.
At the beginning of a new market day usually on Sundays brokers that offers floating spread always manipulate the market.

I think fixed spread will do just fine compared to floating spread.
I am saying this because you don't need to always calculate your pips adjustment and the spread again, just focus on taking your trades.
The floating spread can give rooms for manipulation by the brokers and this is usually common at the beginning of a new week.

Manipulation is the key when you go for float the brokers can settle the market behind you and can reap rewards fro. You each time you made a successful trade so its like loss more often that profit to be honest in my opinion. Actually .

When I was still trading I prefer fix spread because you always know what you will get at the end of the trade. But it is adversable to the range of the spread before trading in order not to lose unknowingly.

I prefer, a fixed spread in this way you have to keep your eyes on the pip every time you trade and you know what are you are going to get as a result while a floating spread does not sound convenient to me because in this case broker have the control over it. If you are someone new and still learning about trading you can easily get fooled by them.

A fixed spread ensures you are paying for what you have access and a float spread has more chance of manipulation which gives a bad insider feeling , I prefer fixed spread as well when doing and performing any trading activity across my broker accounts , that helps Me really have a peaceful mind to trade anytime .

i prefer fixed spreads. sometimes you can get burned by opening a trade in high volatility & not realize the spread is outrageous. there are so many factors to take into account before taking a trade, its easy to forget to remember checking out the spread. even thou there are indicators that will show you the current spread at all times.

floating spreads are also easier for the broker to manipulate, to stop people out.

Fixed spread always give the traders inkling to what traders will get at the end of the trade. Most times, the floating spread is always subjected to manipulation by the brokers. Those that always trade on Sundays will always get to know this.

most times the broker you are using could have effect on the spread ,it's good to have that in mind in the place , it's the reason to have a good broker no matter what , having a good broker is actually an advantage

I think forex trading is one scheme investors must take wise decision if they actually don't want to lose more money , they should be very careful of how they invest no matter what ,more losses could be made if they don't
