What Is Fiverr?

Fiverr is a pioneering freelance market place where people who have any skill they think they can market can go and market their skills waiting for the right employer to pick them. By the way, freelance means working for someone based on contract and being free to work for anyone you like, any time you want.

Fiverr came into the freelancing world, around 2010 and introduced a freelancing style where you offer to do anything for anyone just for 5 bucks. However, since then it has advanced that freelancers are setting the prices way above 5 bucks.

Here is an example of a logo design page on Fiverr

A typical Fiverr advert goes like this "I will design an outstanding logo for you in 24 hours starting at $5". Another one "I will design a creative logo for you in 4 hours".

What You can Do On Fiverr
Logo Design is not the only thing you can do for people to earn money on Fiverr. There are many more of them.

Fiverr has lots of categories such as Graphic Design (logo design falls here), Digital Marketing, Writing And Translation, Video And Animation, Music And Audio, Programming And Tech, Business and Lifestyle.

Each of these categories have lots of sub categories on them. Here is an example of Graphic Design category sub categories.

Should You Start Working On Fiverr Today?
Yes! Absolutely! If you want to earn money online, there is no reason you shouldn't start working on fiverr today. There's no limit to what you can do. There are skills on all levels needed by employers on fiverr and they pay for it.

Some freelancers even get paid to sing a birthday song on Fiverr. Some get paid to record a video of them dancing to a song. Anything you know how to do, you can find an opportunity to earn money with that on Fiverr.

:) I'm also a level 1 seller - it takes a while to get to level 2 - $2,000 of total sales - Still that target used to seem an impossiblity and now it seems achievable, but it will take a while!

Yesterday I had my favourite customer back --- a $5 gig and he turns around and tips me $30!!!!! By far the best tip I've ever had!

Yes, I observed it takes FOREVER to get to Level 2. At the rate I'm going now, it'll take me years? But it's within YOUR grasp - so kudos to you??

Isn't it just nice when your biggest tipper returns! I used to have one like that, a controversial American pastor. He would do the same thing and always tipped me at least $20. One day for whatever reason, I received a $50 payment twice.

I wrestled with my conscience, leaning more on saying nothing and pocketing the money LOL. But it really ate at me and I ended up telling him I'd send it back. And you know what he said? Keep it. I was gobsmacked! Sadly, his work here is done and he doesn't need my services anymore.

Interesting.... I've had that situation where I've recieved the payment twice, (not a $50 payment!!!), in my case I didn't notice it until ages later and it was only $5 so I didn't worry about it ($50 would have weighed on my conscience), I don't use Fiverr as a buyer, wonder how easy it is to double pay.

I know, it was very weird because I couldn't imagine making that error myself. I've only ever used Fiverr as a buyer a few times but as far as I can see, it's not easy to make that mistake. In the end, I was glad I fessed up, especially with the way it ended LOL I think it was even harder for me because I was dealing with a man of the cloth?

Sometimes it can be quite amazing what people manage to do - however hard it is to make a double payment you can be assured that someone will manage it! Yes, I was happy to hear you got to keep your bonus - --- your reward for being a good person :) :)

My latest, and to date largest single payment from Fiverr :)

Since then though I have had only one small gig --- never sure why it always goes like that, either there is too much work, or no work at all!

I sometimes manage to sell gigs on Fiverr.
Created my own crypto digital product ranging from $10 - $30 and usually I get the biggest package sold! :)
The best feeling is when you get a 5 star rating, then you know you have a good product.

My gigs almost all revolve around books. Creating ebooks, designing covers, writing books (ghostwriting), editing books etc etc. I also do a lot of custom orders - I have a handful of repeat clients and they come with random questions that I help them with (graphic design, marketing) really anything at all :)

May 1st 2021 Update

So far so good, it always helps when you can earn extra money online from a digital product you create once and then earn a passive income from that product.
I do update the product about once a month but this usually takes about 1 hour.

That niched is one of the niched that convert the most on fiverr its one of the expensive niched we had on fiverr creating ebooks and ebooks covers,am still struggling web design but I hardly get customers that can buy my gigs.I want to swap to some other niched.

It is a very popular niche with many sellers offering similar services. I think my service is better than a lot of others - partly becuase of my expertise in English grammar which many people cannot match and partly becuase of the friendliness of my service, which again many people don't seem to match. But, I think most of my success comes from, quite simply, being one of the first sellers to offer this service (years and years ago).
Think of a service, and try to be the first to offer it, get some good reviews and then you will be a success.

Fiverr is a site of skill sharing, by sharing your skill you can help others & earn a decent amount of money. There are many category, may be any of these will match with your skill, if don't match then you can also add new jobs;there aren't any problem.Happy earning! ?

You say there aren't any problems :) There is a HUGE problem with Fiverr and that is, people only buy from established sellers - getting started on Fiverr is very, very hard. Many people wait for years and still don't get orders....

Yeah you are right. But I also watched that some people just started and got their first sell in some starting days.It is a obviously a big site, that's why there are more competition. But you can start some other site also, maybe any of site can reason to your success.
I agree with you but I want to know what type of gig are you offering on fivrr,I hardly record some sort of success this days on fivrr it is not easy to make a sales this days with my gig, so that is why I want to swap to some

A trick to getting started on Fiverr is to ask friends and family to order your gig and leave good reviews. A lot of people who get orders quickly are probably following this trick. Then once you have a few good reviews you can get 'real' orders.

You can still get that if you promote your gigs to freinds on social media,am into ebook cover design now so my gigs sell very easy compare to when I was offering web development services its take me along period of time before I get a single client but now I will just post my gigs and soon get client that orfer for it I have not gotten any payment yet since I didnt request for one when I do that and got paid I will do well to post my payment proof here

Yes, this is pretty much Fiverr's trick - they make their users advertise their site! I was always unwilling to do that, Fiverr takes a huge cut of earnings, I feel THEY should advertise me, not the other way around!

A quiet start to the year on Fiverr for me, but things have picked up in the last few months and I've been paid several times recently. Here is just one of my recent payment proofs - just in case anyone is doubting that they are still paying ! :)
Instant payment as always and fingers crossed for more orders soon!!

I signed up for fiverr few years back and i like the fact that its a place where you can freely get clients and all of that...but i wasn't so happy because so many competitions and all, where will i start? What will i be doing? Many people doing almost everything i learnt how to do in there...i didn't go further....i deleted my account...only for a friend to sign me up earlier this year and also helped me with a gig, to be honest I'm still withdrawn from the site...i guess I've got some kind of phobia for a very large competitive market place...but i know I'll make it...when I'm ready to face it.

The competition is indeed very bad. For any gig you can think of there are hundreds of people offering the service!

Patience is suggested. A small trick though is to get friends and family to order your gig and leave 5* reviews. Once you have a handful of good reviews you will find you get some real orders.

Yea thanks for this my friend, that's what i was told too...but, everybody don't have that much friends and family who could be of help...ordering gigs they are not in need of....this is what a friend told me...post your links on watsapp, on social places where you've got online and virtual friends...and i think to myself it's a good idea, I'll try it, when I'm ready to face it..🙂
