What Is Fiverr?

Fiverr is a pioneering freelance market place where people who have any skill they think they can market can go and market their skills waiting for the right employer to pick them. By the way, freelance means working for someone based on contract and being free to work for anyone you like, any time you want.

Fiverr came into the freelancing world, around 2010 and introduced a freelancing style where you offer to do anything for anyone just for 5 bucks. However, since then it has advanced that freelancers are setting the prices way above 5 bucks.

Here is an example of a logo design page on Fiverr

A typical Fiverr advert goes like this "I will design an outstanding logo for you in 24 hours starting at $5". Another one "I will design a creative logo for you in 4 hours".

What You can Do On Fiverr
Logo Design is not the only thing you can do for people to earn money on Fiverr. There are many more of them.

Fiverr has lots of categories such as Graphic Design (logo design falls here), Digital Marketing, Writing And Translation, Video And Animation, Music And Audio, Programming And Tech, Business and Lifestyle.

Each of these categories have lots of sub categories on them. Here is an example of Graphic Design category sub categories.

Should You Start Working On Fiverr Today?
Yes! Absolutely! If you want to earn money online, there is no reason you shouldn't start working on fiverr today. There's no limit to what you can do. There are skills on all levels needed by employers on fiverr and they pay for it.

Some freelancers even get paid to sing a birthday song on Fiverr. Some get paid to record a video of them dancing to a song. Anything you know how to do, you can find an opportunity to earn money with that on Fiverr.

I am also finding it difficult to get my gigs approved over there it's difficult to get first projects over there. Don't know how to get my gig approved

I think you should just try to do your best and hope your gig will get approved. it depends very much on your customer so it's very relative

I think the main problem is with their Android app. I can't post most of advance gig options unlike the web version. Like extras and perks.. Correct me if wrong. I think the web version is far much better and comprehensive than the app. Some one suggest

You have to compete with others, so you have to keep your price at competable rate, also you have to create a blog where you have to advertise and give examples, this will attract fiverr buyers , they will accept only work.

I haven't used their mobile app, but I think that the web version is much more recommended in general if you want to make some serious business. The mobile should be only for extreme cases when it comes to such things

We have to compete with other thousands of gig freelancers. So the point is we have to join Fiverr as comfortable gig providers. For example, we have to build strong twitter account with thousands of followed, then we will post Pay per Tweet gig, and advertisers will pay if they find our tweet ads worth to be buyed.

I have dusted my profile again on fiverr,I really looking for avenue of making reasonable monthly. Will try all avenues again to see which would work for me this year.it a new year I need some good route.

I tried to set up my profile as a freelance translator there, but I gave up after seeing some profile of the competitors there..the rate is extremely low, I can't survive, I have to admit. :p

I wanted to be a translator on Fiverr long time ago and offered my services there, but nobody seemed interested in it.I took a look then to the competitors, and they had so many positive reviews and they had so many jobs to do,that there was a queue of the jobs.

Working as a translator on Fiverr could be hard since there would be many competitors. But the best thing you can do is to actively look for jobs and apply for them and build your reputation little by little.

I would say that if you are new tailor your profile to that because you have no reviews, but mention that you have experience outside Fiverr. I think also to start with offer cheaper services. When you attract clients you can then charge what you want, once you have positive reviews.

This absolutely true for most freelancer sites. I think I will start to work on Fiverr soon :) it would take time and effort at the beginning but I think it will worth it

New rues are painful to be honest. And you can see that fiverr can lead to those ranking issues. And on that note I don't get to spend much time into that. I am not sure how some of the scams can be handled in that case as well.

I'm really interested in working on fiverr, but it looks hard to find some feedback or your first clients, and since is more common to have graphic designers there and not writers, is going to be hard to find your first clients if you are going alone.

But I'm really interested in fiverr, if someone has some advice, ill be happy to hear.

I have sign up already but i discovered i needed good skills in designing to survive so i am still learning graphics design now, hopefully i will start soonest

We honestly cannot earn from Fiverr directly as there is though competition and we are yet have to make more. We first have to establish our selves through making ourselves in different tasks, this will give us training for Fiverr.

Fiver is in a secondary stage of online jobs, only people survive in it , cos there lots of design works available it now depends o how you treat your clients and the rating you get from them. All these require time and patient to earn

It depends on your clients ratings, how much gigs you can sell.I have read, that there are some competitors, whose friends give not so positive reviews to the competitors,so they can't sell so many gigs...

Many times we get some tasks from marketplace which tasks us to share/buy/vote some third party product. This is actually from Fiverr where promoters pay more for promotion, just to advertise that their product is popular in market among people. Fiverr is good place to buy/sell promoting, and this being us tasks also.

I also registered on Fiverr but it has been almost impossible to get a hang of it and get gigs as they call them. I'm always trying to learn how it works so that I can make some extra money but this has not been possible. I know I will learn some great tips here and maybe I can start making money with them. Maybe it could be that the competition is too much that I couldn't find an article writing job.
