What Is Fiverr?

Fiverr is a pioneering freelance market place where people who have any skill they think they can market can go and market their skills waiting for the right employer to pick them. By the way, freelance means working for someone based on contract and being free to work for anyone you like, any time you want.

Fiverr came into the freelancing world, around 2010 and introduced a freelancing style where you offer to do anything for anyone just for 5 bucks. However, since then it has advanced that freelancers are setting the prices way above 5 bucks.

Here is an example of a logo design page on Fiverr

A typical Fiverr advert goes like this "I will design an outstanding logo for you in 24 hours starting at $5". Another one "I will design a creative logo for you in 4 hours".

What You can Do On Fiverr
Logo Design is not the only thing you can do for people to earn money on Fiverr. There are many more of them.

Fiverr has lots of categories such as Graphic Design (logo design falls here), Digital Marketing, Writing And Translation, Video And Animation, Music And Audio, Programming And Tech, Business and Lifestyle.

Each of these categories have lots of sub categories on them. Here is an example of Graphic Design category sub categories.

Should You Start Working On Fiverr Today?
Yes! Absolutely! If you want to earn money online, there is no reason you shouldn't start working on fiverr today. There's no limit to what you can do. There are skills on all levels needed by employers on fiverr and they pay for it.

Some freelancers even get paid to sing a birthday song on Fiverr. Some get paid to record a video of them dancing to a song. Anything you know how to do, you can find an opportunity to earn money with that on Fiverr.

Very well said. I had a handful of projects from FIVERR and sometimes I procrastinate because I set a longer deadline. I hope I change that attitude in the future.

If we make even 1 Bitcoin a month, that would be thousands of dollars Month. So I would like to join such website where I can make it. Fiverr isn't that one, next can be checked.

Upon checking the rate per task, I was shocked of the value and I guess I should try my luck here. I was wondering if they have both worker and buyer protection policy, I guess it is one of the necessary features of freelance websites. It has been a decade since they are struggling on how to figure this. I hope they can implement this in the future.

I will check it properly today and find it out, If there is truth, then it could be much better. We can try there and have an experience with it to know. Also to have a chat with someone from it.

Takes too long to find work so I got lazy and stopped. It's good for the others though, that's where they landed a gig.
Exactly my experience with adsence, have account there like ages,no job because my niche was on content and article writing ,is like my niche is filled with the big goons,so I couldn't get through but I'm good with iwriter for now.

I observed that most employers are looking for coders and devs, their projects are probably out of this world and it might be not good. You know what the good thing on this website is that it provides anonimity on both workers and employers.

Scamsters creating websites might pay at first and then scam all people. We have to take more care about those owners who will ask for investment before payment.

I haven't had any luck with Fiverr so
I've pretty much given up on it! I
think it has become pretty difficult
for a newcomer to get started there.
So many are offering the same things
and newbies are overlooked in favour
of more experienced members!

Yeah, It is actually hard to start with FIVERR, but if you can offer the cheapest gig, someone might get an order and hopefully, you'll get more orders soon.

FIverr is 100% legit marketplace. YOu offer a service for 5$ but you get 4$ . 1$ is fee of fiverr. It works only for those who are experts. it is difficult to get orders in beginning but it works fine after5-6 orders.

Yes precisely a 'legit website', however not a good place for starters anymore since there are loads of experts already in any particular areas, but if you have a unique gig it might work for you and make you real money.

It has been two weeks already since someone ordered from my gig. I hate to say that I am not earning anymore, I guess I have to think a unique gig that is also in demand.

I keep hearing people talk about Fiverr like it's the best money making online site ever. Is it just that good or is there a catch to it? How do you make money?
Fiverr is a good site to earn. You can offer services depending on your skill sets. You can offer services for more than the minimum $5. Level 2 and abover freelancers earn more.

Yeah, might as well that level 2 sellers earn more, probably the deduction from FIVERR is much smaller and they have more buyers as well. I envy those top rated sellers, in fact their job at FIVERR makes it their full time job, some are already rich because of FIVERR.

Fiver is a confirm legitimate site that million of people are earnings endlessly, the only challenge is that most people earning there are with professional skills, the more your skills the more you earn.

Yes, you are definitely right about that, but even if you have professional skills, you will not still earn more, especially when you are starting in the website because of the population or the number of workers.

I posted my gig but it was rejected. Can you help me to accept my gig?
Sorry that your gig was rejected. What were you offering? Did you do so many copy and paste while describing your gig? How about your gig picture? You fiverr frowns at some of these stuffs. So it could be one of the reasons or sometime went wrong. They don't just reject peoples gigs without reason.

This is an excellent idea and a great company. You need a valuable skill that you can offer for sale at a very low price. A few people who are on MyLot have gotten some jobs from this company. They offer to write articles or do some web searches. Once you are established and have a good clientele it is easier to find work on there.

Fiverr is a legit marketplace but unfortunately overcrowded now. I heard that every second more than 20 new sellers post their gigs. I don't know whether it is a genuine news.
That is very normal when a site has been online as long as it has. I heard about this site several years back and it was popular and growing at this time. However, as time passes the site gets more attention and grows. If you'd of been on the site from the beginning it would be easier to find clients now because you'd of build a reputation on the site.
