As per Cointelegraph, as more and more countries and institutions around the world embrace blockchain, now it's time for South Korea to join their ranks. In a first in the country, The Korea Internet & Security Agency or knows as KISA will begin implementing a blockchain employee ID system integrated to an smartphone app in October. The agency will also make tokens called "KISA coins" to reward its most valuable employee. They will be able to use the tokens to buy snack, drinks and several other products. Currently, the system is already in pilot testing phase, and will soon be rolled out if there's no delay halted its progress.

So the token is like the agency's social credit score or employees performance score, with this employees might be more motivated to work. though I wonder if ever those coins would be available outside of their company like in trading exchanges

I think it should be strictly meant for the company or else the purpose for the coin would not be achieved. I guess it would be like some form of payment waiver when buying refreshments at work.

That's really good as more institutions are embracing the block chain technology in improving work standards and daily lives. From financial to government institutions, block chain is the future.

The token is definitely going to be legalized by their government and it can be used in the country for domestic transactions. The blockchain technology is a big development to our existence.

That has always been the main motive of the Blockchain technology to help ease things , even some countries are already using it for tracking crimes

It's a relatively new venture so it's not widespread at the moment. It will save many institutions time and money when implemented.

Another great news that is giving us the hope to keep believing in the future of blockchain in the world .
I believe this step will encourage more south Korea citizens to dive into cryptocurrency
