Yes, if you are an affilate, you will earn a little bit every time someone downloads your file. Let's say someone downloads your file and decides they want premium account too. They buy (subscribe) a premium account on FileFactory. You'll get a commission for referring that user and every time they renew their subscription, you'll earn some more. This sounds familiar. I am not sure whether I already downloaded files through this site. It's just that every time I search for file and wanted to download I am redirected to a site to download the file I wanted. I might try this one.

I've never gotten a virus for downloading from a file-sharing service because I always know the exact file I want to download. I don't download files I'm not interested in.

There's no real way to know if the files have a virus or not. You just need to be smart and not download suspicious files. I only download files that I need and I always check the source before downloading. Usually if you are downloading from a file service like this one and if the file isn't a folder, you have a low chance of getting a virus.

But all that is irrelevant. You don't get paid to download. You get paid when someone downloads your file. In other words, you get paid to upload.

Yes, filefactory used to pay but there´s no more, offers good upload and download speed, nice rates of earn but all the pays solicited are Pending* since a year.
