I came across an interesting site today called File Upload.

They have a pay per download program which allows you to earn every time someone downloads your files. You can earn from files of any size and format (as long as they're legal/not copyrighted material). They pay $7 per 1000 downloads for major countries (US, UK, Canada, Australia) and $3 per 1000 downloads for other countries.

They claim to have paid out over $54,000.

You can get paid through Paypal or other processors and the minimum is only $1.

Has anyone tried this site out? I don't have an earning account on there, but I've downloaded from their site and the speeds are quite good for free users. It could have potential.

I used to work with paid download sites and earn money uploading and sharing files in the past.

Some admins were cheating and steal sales or count very less traffic, hopefully, is not the case with FileUpload.

I only looked into this because I was getting great download speeds from them. If they have great download speeds, people will flock to them.

Looks like quite a few people are getting paid on their site though. And the minimum is pretty low so I guess there's no harm in trying.

What files you will store and then people will download it? I have to say that this is the first time I learned about file upload. I am very interested but I am thinking of what file to share for other people to download it. $1 is easy to achieve, only if I know how to work on the site.

You can upload any file as long as you own the content. If you have any pictures or music that you own and you want to share it, you can upload on File-Upload. I'm pretty sure they accept many different file types.

I know how to make money with ppd sites, let me explain you.

So you can upload videos, photos, game mods, scripts etc and you share them on related forums where it's allowed or your own site.

For example, if 1000 people from US, UK, AU or CA download your file you automatically earn $6 and so on.

This program offers ppd, pps [pay per sale] or mix[a percent from sales and downloads].

It seems like after I posted this, the speed for file-upload dropped. I'm getting below average speeds now from their site. It might not be worth investing time into their program if they have poor download speeds. Downloaders will not download from a source with slow speeds.

Hey, just out of curiosity: do you happen to remember what the speeds you were getting were? I'm interested to know what you consider to be good vs poor speeds from a file sharing service.

As a free user, I was able to get 1800KB/s when it was the fastest.

I've noticed that speeds depend on when (what time of day) you download. I guess if the servers are busy, you'll get poorer speeds. I managed to hit 1600KB/s tonight, but on some days I can barely hit 100kbs/s.

So File-Upload is still a good option if you download at the right time XD

I would also recommend to test your internet speed, sometimes the problem is on your end, servers can offer high download speed most of the time, if it's low speed means the problem can be on your end and this can be solved by contacting your ISP, but if the issue is on the download file server end, it might be due to unexpectedly high traffic in that timeframe and server is not properly optimized for it.

Nah, it's definitely not me. My internet still runs fast when I'm downloading from File-Upload. I also download from different file-sharing sites and the other sites are unaffected. So I'm pretty sure the problem is on their end.

This is great to hear! I'm glad that they are legit and paying. How long did it take for you to earn the dollar? And how long did it take for them to send the money after you requested for it?

It's legal because of there are a lot of payment proofs in Google and also a lot of people I know withdrew from it, also I withdrew from it the first money I have ever made from the Internet and it was $1.50. Proof:

It took me to collect one dollar for about two days, but for a pay it took me 2 days

That's not bad at all. Two days is pretty reasonable considering how many people they have to send money to. I'm definitely going to check them out when I have more time.

The website is paying!! However the ppd rate is quite low. The highest rate for 1000 downloads is only $6 for non-premium member. Uploadocean and douploads pay the highest rate (up to $21 per 1000 downloads) I have seen so far but the file size has to be larger than 1MB. The good thing about file-upload is that you will get rewarded for any file size even your file is 1byte large.

Are you running a website to share file? I guess you need at least 200 downloads to earn your first dollar.
