❕NEWS FBI Warns Digital Currency Exchanges and Crypto Owners of Possible Threats

Last week, the FBI issued a warning about impending assaults on cryptocurrency exchanges and holders. The TLP protocol was used to transmit the warning, which was designed to distribute the desired information to certain groups. The FBI has given it the green light to share this material with peers and partner groups in the crypto community.

According to the FBI, there are organisations actively tracking vulnerabilities in these corporations in order to take action. It emphasises that these organisations employ a variety of tactics to attain their goals. Sim swapping, tech support fraud, and account theft are examples of these methods. The alert also includes some tips for institutions to keep their assets safe, such as keeping an eye on incoming mail and monitoring accounts for odd activity.

Cryptocurrency users should always use two-factor authentication and be cautious about the information they publish on social media, according to the FBI. Sim swap attacks, on the other hand, are extremely difficult to prevent.

Well , every cryptocurrency investors should be aware of these possible attacks and should be ready to put the necessary measures to combat these things

From what I know crypto currency is not a legal digital product that it can be banned or even be considered a minor crime when you are dealing with it. That is one reason why until now I have not engage with crypto currency for fear that it might be banned in our country.

I think everyone is aware of the risks and threats we might face when we decided to own crypto currency.. i agree with always using a two factor authentication to atleast more security

Exactly, I always write that the issue of security is a two way thing you need to protect your crypto wallet online and the platform should do theirs as well. there should be no loophole that will let these hackers have any foothold to hack ones site or wallet. The criminals don't mind going away with all the monies so protection against them is key.

yeah the exchange platform are the ones that even need that reminder of vulnerability , because they could get hacked at any point in time ,it's good to see that fbi are warning them again possible threat that could likely take place that crypto currency investor's needs to be aware of at any point in time too I think
