If you want comments on your site, you can solve it on two way.
1. Make users to register on your site using email.
2. Use Social Media plugins, most often Facebook.

My question is - which are better for SEO? Will search engine better rank site if comments are posted using social media plugin or from registered users?

Thanks for answers.

I think your SEO won't be affected that much just because of your choice in any comment platform/plug-in. There's also Disqus platform, which is free and installed in several big sites that I know of.

So you think both versions are good for SEO? Social media plugins are easier to maintain but you can't control stuff like how much minimum is comment. Are comments from social media saved into site database?

Ya, more or less both the same in terms of SEO. What Google ranks is never the comments anyway. And I don't think the comments from commenting plug-in are stored in your site since most of them have their own cloud servers.

I don't think your choice of having comments on your site which your site ranking by Google in any way. The different ways is just a way of giving site owners choices to select from.

I think it does rank comments since some Google search can guide you on forum comments or comments on articles. But I didn't notice this comment are posted using social media plugin.

Comments posts by social media plugins or register can never able to create problem in SEO.

But can it help? Can search engine count it as activity on site and help better rank it? I hear Google like user activity on site and it can help SEO.

as far my experience it is not counting by Google seo. Another thing, Google SEO depend on number of backlinks and number of rich keywords in article with active readers.

I would opt for a built-in comment system that doesn't rely on heavy external scripts, such as Facebook, as these can slow down the page, which can have the potential to negatively impact rankings. If you are to use a third-party comment system, then at least use one which can help to drive additional traffic, such as Disqus, as it recommends your content to its users.

both commenting system and social medias does not affect google ranking, but however the latter the social media has some, but it's too insignificant to measure, but don't abandon your social media promotion all together.

True it can slow down site or be unavailable and you can't do anything in that case. But if you have your own commenting system it can be atack by bot. Bad contact or register forms are often targets.

If you really want, I'm using two tools like a suggestion box and they are the following namely: freesuggestionbox - can be set as anonymous or with a name, and also uservoice can be anonymous or not.

Social media plugins like that of face book is very good for a site ,you can see it as a bridge that connects 2 extremely large platforms on the internet

Yeah, that is what I was going to say.
Plugins won't affect the SEO that much but they also affect a little bit.
So I think social media plugin is better.

Social media to a large extent will even bring in more traffic than registered member on a site. A lot of people like me love to visit a site without a bother to even register on it

Yeah same for me, registering with social media is much easier and more comfortable for users and It would increase the traffic but not so much I think, because it depends on the site itself.

It might be to a large extent because of the volume of people on social media. Take for instance facebook it had over 2 billion people on it. So the traffic will be huge

That is right, facebook has 2 billion users, but this won't affect the traffic on the site, for example there might be tons of sites out there that uses social media plugins but we don't even know about it, or heard about it in our life.
The point that I am trying to reach is that social media is good addition for the site but won't help in the traffic that much. But also you might be right I respect your opinion.

I don't think how your visitors leave comment on your post has anything to do with the SEO of your site. Well, having comments on your post helps in terms of SEO as comments also means more content on your site. However, it does not matter whether you ask your visitor to register before commenting, or use fb plugin to leave comment.
My point of view is that it is really important to choose wisely between registering and fb plugin to leave comments, because for me it matters and it also matters for a lot of users, cz it is sometimes easier for the user to register with his social media account, or sometimes it is better for him to register using his email if he for example, doesn't want to share his personal account on social media to register on websites, so I think it is really important to choose wisely between them.
