Our office had a bad experience with the first design of our website. The colors and graphics were great snd there was even a short animation. But the problem is the slow access. It takes more than a minute and sometimes more than 2 minutes before the entire main page is displayed. The effect is the diminished hits because viewers were turned off. That's why I prefer a fast display of the webpage than a fancy design.

Same here. I like clean and simple design too. Nowadays people would prefer a webpage to load almost instantly, functionality might not be the main or only concern. 1-2 minute waiting time is really too slow, especially for a website, not even an application.

So did your office revamped the website or continued to use it?

Stop using fancy design on your website because it takes too much time to load and user comes to your site to look at your content, not to look your fancy design. A simple design is enough for a good website.
