Previously known simply as Facebook company, now they changed the name to Meta. This name change reflects the company's ambition to expand its business beyond that of social media alone.

One distinctive feature in Facebook is their cognitive approach to development and always at the top to improve their services.
This days people no longer see Facebook as the hub for social network but also a market place were transaction takes place,hence changing the name is quite timely.

I think you are right , but I think the difficulty in change of name could be of benefits , because it would probably make it harder for hackers to be able to hack the system and others ,most times change of name have its own benefits

Yes, it has benefits but i think you will lose customers when you change business name. Most people cannot be easily been convinced that was the really truth the name is been changed but in hacking you can equally put higher security in order to prevent it.

That is true. Most people don't trust easily when there are rumours of a change in name, even if it is true. So you will face a moment there where you lose customers. But the security is increased everytime there is a change in name, that is a good thing.

Actually, if many people are used to the first name and you later changed it , i think it will be very difficult for you to convince them. Sometimes we need to always leave like be business name is not always neccessary, it is just hard work and smart work.

Facebook are still on right track changing his parent company name as their vision for funding their share future. As their attempt to usher in the metaverse, a new world built in virtual reality. Changing Facebook's focus to the metaverse, right here and right now, is just a brilliant business move.

The best way is just to leave the name and concentrate on developing the business in order to make it better than how it was. Changing the business name may cause more harm than good to you, because you may need a tangible reason for changing the name in order to always explain to the understanding of customers.
