I am going to try out the facebook ads on one of my website, earlier I tried it with facebook page. And I want to see how and what are some of the things that can be pretty effective. I can tell you that traffic wise it can be pretty difficult to manage as it often burns out the budget if I do it on post or the page. And we don't get what we are looking for in terms of the traffic to the page or the site. So based on my that experience I am trying to find out effective things to do with it.

Any suggestion or recommendation or advice on what to expect and what to do for FB Ads?

When advertising on facebook ads make sure you choose and the right target country and the right audience. if you don't choose right audience for your ads you might not get the right traffic

After my analysis I am sure that do not invest in face book for advertising right now. You need a proper guide line and what people will get to see your advertisements. You should think why people click your ads and why they will spend into your page?

one thing to mention , i was seeing sponsored German pages on facebook just because my phone was set on German instead of French / English / Arabic , i'm not even from Germany , but yet it is still appearing for me , which proves that the algorithms of facebook ads aren't well optimized , it should target people depending on their ips ( which reveals their locations ) and not the language they are using in facebook

That can be bad advertiser, that can't perfectly set up his ads campaign.

that's logical , but that happened with me like 5-6 times or so , which means no , also why would them target moroccans ? they don't speak german

I believe the most important thing is getting a good reach,so set it up insuch a way that your targeted audience is reached and your expectations for your campaign accomplished too.
