The President of European central bank, Christine Lagarde revealed that after months of research on digital Currencies the Bank has decided to launch a project to prepare for possibly issuing a digital euro." ECB's. The digital euro can also be used for payment across.

So what about the price does it remains fix or not and is that listed on any stock exchange and other Crypto exchange that can define the position

Am very sure it would be fixed just the way usdt is , am happy it would be used on all platform and not just a selected platform at least to increase the use of it

I think it'll be in the form of a stable coin like usdt. The central bank has a lot of money to add as liquidity and peg to the normal euro price. It also has to be on a cheap and fast blockchain.

I'm all for the changes a country needs to boost it's economy. If this is one of the ways then it all good. Let each country have their digital coins to boost their country

It seems that there is potential with having a digital currency because Euro is a strong currency , I don't see why they will want to have a digital version except accessibility factor

I guess most of these countries wants to have their digital version of their fiat Currencies to make cryptocurrency transactions faster or to discourage cryptocurrencies usage.

Well , let's see how it goes but I know that if cryptocurrency is not banned , people will always opt for cryptocurrency than CBDC of countries

If it's on a cheap blockchain a lot of people would want to consider it , but as time goes on if the transaction rate increases on the coin network it might not be cheap again and if other coin blockchain could help host the stable coin it would make the fee cheap for long time

Well, what is the cheap block chain? I mean I am baffled to even hear this term.? Is that about the transaction fees are cheap. In that case, there are many blockchain having less transfer fees available.

What could be the advantages for the creation of a digital euro? We have the main cryptocurrencies and now we have projects from several countries for the creation of digital currencies.

What do you mean by being on a cheap blockchain ? , This doesn't have any impact as Euro is a powerful currency and will soar high on it's own.

To be honest, I don't think its value will skyrocket, it will be a stablecoin like USDT, which will give the euro more strength. We will see what happens after the digital launch, what we talk about here is just speculation

I mean if it's been hosted on blockchain that provides low transaction fee , for instance like the Tron blockchain network it will help too

Ofcourse it cannot be Volatile , it is a digital currency but a digital version of a Fiat Currency so it is not meant to be Volatile by any way

None of these countries clamoring for digital coins are in form cryptocurrency rather the digital version of their local currency which is stable and subjected to forex market updates.

The launch of digital euro might still not have any much impact because almost all countries now have their own digital currency but i think it might just create more options to which business transactions can be carried out.

First, it would be good to be very clear about the difference between the digital euro and the fiat euro that can be transferred or used through bank cards. I am a little confused, I will have to look for more information

this will be a bolt move. I am looking forward to read more details. But I fear since the EU is driven by consensus the digital Euro will not be so ambitious like the digital Yuan. I am very curious but not very optimistic... please EU surprise me :)

I think there are blockchains built with a stable fees structure and will still be cheap even if trade volume is increased. Creating a new blockchain is not difficult so a new one can be created.
