There are many cryptocurrency exchange platforms that are being developed on a regular basis however some of the more prominent and common ones that people are actually making use of is coinbase. For many people this actually forms the first form of interaction that they have with cryptocurrency in terms of how they using it as a wallet or an exchange platform. In a recent analysis of the financial indicators that are surrounding this company it seems that the second quarter profit has actually shown a major increase with the profits being recorded as 1.6 billion dollars. According to the analysis however it seems that this is largely contributed to the Ethereum coin, which was supposedly having a much higher trading volume than Bitcoin. What are your thoughts on this development and do you actually think that this is the start of a very good rivalry between these two cryptocurrencies?

This is not surprising because ethereum has use cases and this will promote it's buys . The Defi projects and the new digital assets known as Non fungible tokens are contributors to this

How have the NFTs been contributing to ETH if i may ask? If i am not mistake they are two completely separate entities in the cryptocurrency space.

NFT's are built on ethereum network and for one to buy it sell it ,the person needs to have ethereum for transaction fee and buying the nft

I dont think it's time for a good rivary or comparison , because both coin are doing well ,all we need is that they continue to get more trading volume on Coinbase , it would be good for both coin in the future and even help boost the crypto currency community as a whole too

Well, I must say that both Ethereum and bitcoin are usually compared to each other, but right now both of them are in trouble. However, today the price of both the coins were side by side on the chart and I think that we need to look at the bigger picture. I do not think that we must observe trading volume on Coinbase only rather we must focus on overall trading of both the coins and only then we will get the right figures.

when it comes to price they are really far away and distinct , the only part they could be compared too ,is the profitability ratio for those investing in them , because with the value of ethereum it still have more volatility ratio compared to Bitcoin value that's the big difference

Etherium and Bitcoin have had a rivalry since they are the first two cryptocurrencies to be created. Even though Bitcoin was the first, it was surpassed by etherium with time. I think what made etherium so popular is their branching into DeFi and NFT networks. Plus also most people faced issues a while ago with Bitcoin s high transaction fees and had to start using other cryptocurrencies like etherium.

It is normal to see that Ethereum volume is the highest from all cryptos. Every token is structured on Eth system,so that basically boost the Ethereum. Ethereum creators are burning eth to can increase its price, but its total supply is still x20 than Bitcoin and this blocks it to become #1 in crypto market passing BTC.

That's true but bitcoin transactions cost never reached higher than $20 and it was always the ether whose cost of transactions went upto $90 per transactions on its peak time
The popularity of ether on the chain was due to high fees but now the fees has been reduces greatly to $0.92 per transactions on average so things have worked out rightly
