❕NEWS Ethereum transactions fee dropped by 75%.

There are as been high transaction fee in the ethereum blockchain network due to backlog of transaction accumulated in the network.
As at Wednesday last week the gas fee stood between 30 Gwei to 40 Gwei and minimum of 6 Gwei for speedy transactions. The transaction that usually takes up to $1is now $0.25.

Has any of you witnessed delay transactions in ethereum recently?.

I didn't have ethereum these days. When I last exchanged it to usdt , the transaction fees was $1+. Good to know the fees gas been reduced despite the growing price of ethereum.

I exchanged $4 ethereum with a friend few hours ago and the charges was arround $0.30 and the transaction was completed in less than 10 minutes.

I just now saw a thread here from someone who says his ethereum transaction is pending from 1 day , not sure if he has spent enough fees.

I guess the transaction rate might have dropped that might be the cause ,but just hope it doesn't increase again because such thing has happen in bitcoin too

Wow if ethereum has reduced to 75percent people have to buy ethereum so that when ethereum rises you will be at a profitable side
I think it's not the right time to buy ethereum. Ethereum is already close to touch $400 , not a good option to buy ethereum at this price bro.

Do we really know if it is going to be dropping below $400 if it eventually get up to that amount, I think the risk is to buy it now and let see how it will go.

The competition doesn't stop, does it? I may have predicted this earlier. With this reduction in transaction fees by a massive 75%, not a lot of people will fancy bitcoin that much. After all, we want profit.
If the transaction fee is been reduced few might still fancy bitcoin for transaction since its widely used and also for profit making as it is already used for

Yeah right. Bitcoin is widely approved but it is only matter of time before top organisations start looking to make ethereum part of their payment methods. I mean, ETH is right behind.
Some companies are already using it to pay their workers and for other financial activities ,since bitcoin and ethereum transaction fee can't be compared with each other

If this reduction in transaction fee stays for a longer time , then there will be more people converting their coins to ethereum when they want to withdrawal or sell , so that they can benefit from the low fee charge

I think probably most of the traffic in the ethereum mainnet was from those hyip Forsage matrix stuffs that's been popping lately, and those matrix seems to be dying now and I guess traffic in the eth net is back to normal

Ethereum is not mostly used for hyip payments. I feel it cos more whales were responsible for the high fee.
What do you mean by hyip forsage and matrix that are popping recently.

I'm not sure about the forsage matrix thing and how it works but it claims to be a smart contract and uses ethereum, and I think is also a pyramid scheme like all other, liken to a hyip site because the first ones to invest are the ones getting the most profit, it's like networking

This is good news for the people who transact in ethereum as they are able to do more transactions now at a cost effective rate.Is there an app or website that tells you the fee for exchanging.I use blockchain wallet mostly and it can't calculate the fee when you have noting in the balance?

I don't think any website or wallet will be able to give you an estimated transaction fee when your wallet is empty except you ask someone that transact an amount you intend to transact then you can have idea.
