I think that this is to be expected because this cryptocurrency is able to offer a lot of different advantages and benefits that bitcoin currently is unable to do. For example if we look at the transaction fee it is generally a lot higher on bitcoin and therefore people are more likely to migrate to cryptocurrencies apart from Bitcoin.
