Glasdnode revealed that there are been a continuous rise in the transaction fee of ethereum in the past few months.
The miners recently broke a record by earning $500, 000 from transaction fee in just an hour.
The ethereum enthusiasts are seriously worried about the escalating fee. More details can be found on decrypt.co

Since is the miner that benefit from the gas fees so when they sell off their bitcoin at when the gas fee is high they make more profit
kinda confuse with your statement, as gas fees = ethereum network , transaction fees = bitcoin network or any other networks. the work in the ethereum network is still given equally to all miner depending on the power they give to the network, so more transaction is like more work for them and less idle time

Okay I get your point what I was asking is it that miners benefits from the transaction fee when it's high or when it's low that's my question

I think ethereum 2.0 is there solution for this, though ethereum 2.0 has already been delayed for quite a while now
Don't you think there's a reason for this delay? The miners know they're earning a lot of money from this high network fees so they'll do everything possible to frustrate that.

you do know that miners don't have any hands on the development of ethereum 2.0 only the devs have, even before this high gas fees in the ethereum network, ethereum 2.0 has already been delayed

Yeah miners dosent have any engagement with the development of the Ethereum 2.0 which is just an upgrade of the former ,so miners can't do anything

well the developers already announced staking with the release of ethereum 2.0 and with the staking feature to replace the way work is being done in the system miners aren't really needed anymore after the release

Does that means the next 2.0 would be about staking only and the former would accommodate miners ? because I don't get
yes, the former network of ethereum which is proof-of-work , would be changed to proof-of-stake , hence stakers will be the fuel now of the network not the miners

Okay so this is just to reduce the burden on the network and make transaction fee cost less , and miners would use the new one that's cool

nope not really, it would just mean that miners are not needed anymore in the ethereum network, so ethereum miners will have to change pools or change the coins they mine

Am suprise that miners won't be needed in the Ethereum network so the miners that have mined coin and don't know about the upgrade will make loss

nope , the mined ethereum coins can still be use in the ethereum 2.0 , as all ethereum coins will just be slowly upgraded to eth 2.0 coins

Alright I will make more research on Ethereum 2.0 and the former version to get more insight on the information , and make use of them

ethereum 2.0 has already been announced for quite a while though I guess the news about it didn't really continued to explode as much

Then who knows if the developers are part of the miners,? The delay is becoming unnecessary as they seems to have exhausted their excuses. The crypto world is watching.

Hell anyone can become a miner if they have necessary hardwares even the developers , from a developer perspective making something not new but an upgrade from a previous system and applying patches to it on real time is much more stressful than just creating a new seperate system

The delay is necessary because they need to fix and make sure all things are in place before launching if that's my opinion tho ,so they will do the job

yep I would agree to think so to, as it would be much worst if they'd just launched the system and bugs will just pop out everywhere, that situation is much worst

Sure there are things to settle out before launching them so the dark net hackers wouldnt use the weakness to make situation worst
