As we all know, the transaction fee when we make a crypto transaction is highly dependent on the traffic at the time that we make the transaction. Of course if you increase the transaction fee that you are willing to pay, your payment could take priority and you will notice that your funds are transferred sooner.

However, the new Ethereum transaction fee model aims to do away with this, and this has the miners outraged. According to the new plan, EIP 1559, the transaction fee will be set at a standard rate, and there will be a minor/small tip that is added to that fee for the miners.

Of course this will be highly beneficial to us, and as a crypt user this will mean that we can transact at any time without having to worry about the traffic, but miners have the most to lose from this according to this article.

What do you guys think? I look forward to your comments. I for one, am all for this idea and hope they even implement it in btc in the future.

Which coin do you see having a better future? Do you think that it will be the bitcoin or ethereum 2.0. I have a small investment so i can't split them but am wondering which i should rather invest in.
Ethereum might explode after ethereum 2.0 come out and with ethereum exploding it might also directly affect bitcoin and bitcoin will also rise along it, but everything is just speculations

I see what you mean. The price of bitcoin and ethereum are often linked. When one goes up, so does the other and vice versa. I will keep my funds in bitcoin for now. Thank you for the advice.

Yes, as have i as well. I now have most of my investment in bitcoin and dogecoin. But i hope to reinvest in ethereum when their transaction costs are revised. There was even once someone who spent millions on just a transaction fee for ethereum if i am not mistaken.
That's too high! They should do something before it gets out of hand. How's dogecoin recently, is there any future for it? There are many tokens coming up now .

ethereum's gas fees should probably go down when ethereum 2.0 gets launched most probably. Dogecoin's initial development was mainly just a meme coin or coin for tipping so the question of it having a feature is undefinable it would depend on the people

It would be nice seeing that with ethereum, I mean exploding without any interference from bitcoin rather it pulling bitcoin along with it.

well ethereum exploding without it affecting the price of bitcoin is kinda not realistic at some situations as there are alot of people that interchanges between bitcoin and ethereum

I think that dogecoin has a very bright future moving forward. In fact, looking at the number of people that use dogecoin and their low transaction fee, i think that if the number of merchants that accept it increase, it could be a great mainstream crypto.

What I meant was ethereum affecting bitcoin price first for a change instead of bitcoin affecting ethereum. I haven't seen that happen before.

That would actually be a very interesting turn in events if that had to happen and if people looked more to Ethereum for price predictions rather than bitcoin.

I think recently that happened when these smart contracts hyip sites were on the rise and gas fees in the ethereum network significantly rose too

I hate it when fee is kinda high
And this need to be balance
Forget the traffic, some site and app gas fee is much, for receiving like btc, they wil charge for sending too.
Eth need to be unique in one way
don't you think it's just stupid for us to just send whatever we want without even paying sht and miners would just get nothing for processing our transaction fees?, the miners are the one responsible for processing our transaction in the blockchain hence the payments go to them, this is how blockchain works, no miners = no one to process in the network = no transaction could take place

Yeah of course miners have to be paid and there needs to be a fee for the transaction so that these miners are able to work and get paid. Hopefully though this fee can be more realistic and more fixed for specific transaction ranges.

I wish same can be applied to it's value. Bitcoin is rising in value same with other cryptos. Nothing is happening to dogecoin so far. I wish it can increase in value.

I don't think that for now it will increase in value because there is unlimited dogecoin supply. However, i think that in the future if the supply of dogecoin is capped, then we can probably see some good prices coming forward from there.

it would depends on the people if they want to invest in dogecoin and increase its demand in the market, the more demand it has in the market the higher its price will rise

Yes,since the owners of dogecoin are not bothered about the coin. I see it depreciating further in value with the fierce competition from new ambitious tokens.

the developers of dogecoin don't really care about dogecoin I think as they didn't really planned enough or they only created dogecoin as a memecoin

Ya,even at that, they need to do something or hand it over to an interested investor. Dogecoin is gradually biting the dust amidst many serious tokens coming up daily.

interested company you mean, as just an investor holding a dogecoin would do not much to it, but a company with crypto engineers and devs can improve its system and can add more functions to the coin
