This is an indication as to the supply and demand of that specific cryptocurrency. Over the last 24 hours Ethereum has seen a higher cryptocurrency trading volume than that seen by Bitcoin. Bitcoins trading volume of this time was 50 billion dollars however ethereum saw a trade volume of 60 billion dollars. What are your thoughts on this and do you think that this shows that ethereum is a strong rival for bitcoin?

Yes it is but it will take up 5+ Years to compete with bitcoin and surely there is a lot of price difference between the two of them , others coins to look at are bch

There does exist a major price difference between teh two, however the successfulness of a coin is not divides by teh price of the coin but rather by its popularity and trade volume because this shows the most interesting coin.

Well you are right in the saying but both currencies have same issues bitcoin is almost stuck say stable at a level and ethereum has highest fees of the lot so why not choose coins which have potential

They might be rivals but not a strong one , because bitcoin have been in the market for years before ethereum was launched and the popularity can't be compared

The second cryptocurrency will most likely remain the second. Bitcoin can only lose its title if something incredible happens. Ethereum has a future, but bitcoin will still come first.
