Ethereum Core developer and founding team member said in a latest interview : that ether started with the aim to provide scalability and decentralized finance to users while with the frequent hard forks and slow nature of bitcoin is opposite to ETH it has still lacked decentralized and scalability features and providing better core models ...

Well, some words are not backed up with action and somethings don't go as planned . I think this is what is happening to eth but it could still happen in the near future re who knows

Yes Room for improvement is there happened with the bitcoin and can happen with the ethereum as well to be honest actually in my opinion

I have read a comprehensive article on the motive behind the creation of ethereal. It was initially designed to outperform the bitcoin. This was not realised and I guess that's what the developer is pointing at.

Although to me ethereum is not lacking interms of decentralized feautures ,it's still like the other coins ,the only problem I have with ethereum is the high transaction fee

Well if you seeit has actually surpassed in the terms of popularity , but in the money sense it will always remain in rank to the Bitcoin , that's it
